She's a Prey — A weak one.

It was a few minutes past seven when Aiden woke up from his short nap. He blinked a few times, adjusting to the dim light filtering through the curtains.

The room was silent, save for the soft hum of the city beyond his window. Aiden stretched his arms above his head, feeling the satisfying pull of his muscles waking from their brief rest. The events of the day were still fresh in his mind, but he pushed them aside as he swung his legs over the side of the bed.

Deciding to meet his allies around eight, Aiden knew he needed to make haste with his daily task. Time was slipping away, and he couldn't afford to waste it.

He had been neglecting these tasks, and it wouldn't help him in his quest to reach at least level four, or perhaps five, before entering the dungeon to claim his life token. Survival depended on gathering as many experience points as possible, and that journey began with completing his daily tasks.
