CHAPTER 77 Forgotten Past

  Kassandra's POV

As much as I hated the smell of this pork steak in front of me, I force myself to take a bite just to keep myself entertained while they are silently roasting me and my existence.

"Guess what? He's happy now with his Luna." Timothy Clyde spoke in the middle of the silence.

I raise my head to him and saw him apologetically smile at me.

Clayden once again clears his throat. "I understand everyone's sentiments, but it would be much of my joy if you respect the fact that my real Luna is here, on my side."

The table went silent. Gone now is the cling and clang of utensils. Even chewing seems to violate the silence, everyone is...in complete aghast.

I look at Clayden. His jaw is clenched while his eyes bore into that man who spoke about Monica and him.

  "I-I apologize, Alpha."

Clayden's father laugh which causes everyone to breathe. "Let's have a toast, everyone!"

"Don't mind them," Jarred whispered on my side.
