CHAPTER 13 Clayden's Voice

  Kassandra's POV

I'm struggling to untie my hair bow after a very long day at the university. My back hurts after PE class which happens to be our last subject for the day.

"Gosh, I missed you..." I mumbled as I lay my back on top of my bed.

Three days ago, Clayden returned me home after that incident inside that bedroom.

That day also made me wonder how long I should allow myself to be influenced by his presence while he is nearby.

I have to admit that the intimacy we shared on that particular day made me feel odd inside. I can still feel how he was breathing and how his eyes were fixed on me as if I would vanish the moment he closed them.

What's his deal this time, I thought to myself.

My phone rang not long after I made the decision to take a nap before starting my business analytics task.

My stomach dropped, and I groaned.

I do not want to take the call but it'll keep on ringing if I'm not going to answer whoever the caller is.

Sheez.
