CHAPTER 33 The Existence of The Child

  Solaine's POV

"I always care about you, Solaine." Xander's sudden appearance before me steals the very air from my lungs, leaving me gasping for breath. In an instant, a torrent of memories floods my mind, vividly replaying the moments we shared and the things we used to do together.

I remember that moment so clearly-the time we shared our love, our bodies intertwined, and I could see him, his eyes filled with adoration, speaking to Denver about his deep affection for me.

  "This is absolutely false-"

"It doesn't matter, Solaine-my feelings for you are true. I liked you before I fell in love with your sister." He cut me off, his hand reaching out to graze my cheeks, but before he could make contact, Axel swooped in and forcefully shoved him aside.

"Do not even think about laying a finger on her after the pain you've caused!" Axel's voice reverberated through the room, shaking the very foundations.
