CHAPTER 50 A Seething, Burning Hatred Stare

  As I strolled through the pack, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that I went unnoticed by most passersby. However, my heart suddenly quickened its pace as I caught sight of Axel making his way towards me. I abruptly halted my steps, my gaze sweeping across the surroundings.

  "Soul," His whispers echoed through the air, carrying with it a weight of mystery

  "I'm sorry," I interjected, my words slicing through his train of thought. "I never intended for that to happen. I was consumed by an overwhelming sense of desperation to-"

  A grin spreads across his face, his eyes sparkling with confidence. "I know," he says, his voice filled with a mix of amusement and self-assurance. "There's no need to say those words," He cut me off with a soft voice.

  I let out a heavy sigh, my gaze filled with remorse as I locked eyes with him.
