CHAPTER 89 Another Day

  Solaine's POV

  Another Day

I am intimately familiar with the intense pain I experienced and the realization that my life was on the line in this particular situation.

I am determined to ensure the utmost care for my child, and it is of utmost importance that only Axel is aware of my pregnancy within this group.

However, before proceeding with my plan, I felt the need to have a conversation with Axel. He's perfectly okay and currently in the secure room. I trailed behind him and discovered him in that spot, emitting a series of low, pained sounds as I observed him removing the band aid from his flesh.

  "Axel?" I murmured.

He turned to face me without any surprise. "What brings you to this place?" A smile spread across his face.

"Are you feeling better?" I inquired as I made my way towards him.

  He failed to respond.

"I still recall your words," I whispered. "Why do you end up like that? Who caused you pain?" I asked, filled with concern.
