CHAPTER 37 Ally or Enemy

  Alfie's POV

I was conflicted after Keith told me that Lottie was planning to confess her feelings to me. I couldn't make a decision, and I didn't even know why I was so conflicted about it.

Normally, when faced with an untransformed she-wolf, I didn't need to think twice. If they confessed, I would reject them immediately. But it seemed different because it was Lottie.

Feeling uneasy, I called Keith, the culprit, to the Green Hotel bar. With years of understanding between us, I didn't need to say much, and he understood why I called him out.

I didn't say much during the whole time, just focused on drinking. Since he knew I didn't like unfamiliar people touching my car, he only drank some beverages and didn't drink alcohol.

"I'm sorry, Alfie. I didn't even notice that Lottie hadn't transformed yet because you treated her so specially. It was my mistake this time."

He looked at me apologetically and then drove me home while I was drunk.
