ANNA'S POV
I smiled. Her enthusiasm was contagious. Maybe this movie would be good for me after all. Maybe it would be the start of something great.
"Thanks for the encouragement," I said. "I'm feeling a lot more positive about this now."
"That's the spirit!" Britt said, giving me a high-five.
"So about the nutcase who asked you to marry him… are you gonna accept him?"
"Hell no! Why would I accept to be a fake wife to a guy who is a play boy to secure an inheritance for himself. And you know how I feel about marriage. I don't believe in marrying someone you don't love. Even though right now I don't believe in love and I've promised myself never to fall in love with anyone." I said.
"Never say never, Anna." Britt said.
"I know what you're saying," I said, "but I'm not interested in love. I've been hurt before and I'm not willing to get hurt again. I'd rather focus on my career and my friends and family. I don't need a romantic relationship to be happy."
