ANNA'S POV
"That was fantastic," the casting director said. "You did a great job of showing the conflict within your character.
Now, for the next take, I want you to focus on the courage your character has.
She's afraid, but she's also brave. She's willing to take a risk and be honest with this man."
I nodded, taking in the feedback.
I took a moment to visualize my character's courage. I thought about what it would take for her to be honest, and I channeled that feeling into my next take.
"That was brilliant," the casting director said when I finished. "You captured the full range of emotions your character was feeling. I'm really impressed."
I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment, knowing that I had done a good job. But I was also nervous, wondering if I would be chosen for the role.
"Thank you for your audition," the casting director said. "We'll be in touch with you soon."
