CHAPTER 91 I'm Glad You're Fine

  DAVID'S POV

I reached my car and got in, starting the engine. I was about to drive off when I saw a figure out of the corner of my eye. I turned and saw a man standing by the side of the road. He was looking directly at me, and something about his stance seemed off. He wasn't moving, just staring at me, and a chill ran down my spine.

I turned away and focused on the road ahead of me, but I could feel his eyes on me. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up, and I felt a wave of fear wash over me. Was this man connected to the mysterious phone call? And if so, what did he want with me?

I gripped the steering wheel, my knuckles turning white. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to call the police, but I was afraid that it would only make things worse if I didn't have any evidence. But I also couldn't just ignore the situation. Something was wrong.
