CHAPTER 9 Alpha?!

  Wren's POV

  Suddenly, I felt a lot of the weight on my chest lifted, and the feeling of suffocation that had been bothering me disappeared.

  "Feeling better?" he asked.

  "Much better, thank you."

  "No need to thank me, I just analyzed the situation for you."

  I nodded again and ordered a new drink, sipping it slowly.

  "Still feeling sad?" he asked again.

  "Yeah."

  "You can try visiting a new place you've never been to before. It'll help because you can make new memories instead of focusing on the past."

  "I'll try."

  "Or, you can come to my pack as a guest. I built a small amusement park for my wife, but it's been vacant for a long time. It'll be good to put it to some use and to help someone that needs a distraction."

  I put down my glass and looked at him, my head spinning for a while before I caught the keyword. "Vacant?"

  "Yes, when it was just built, my wife loved to go there, but that was years ago."

  "So... she doesn't like it anymore?"
