Wren's POV
"You really do what you say," Hayden said.
I glanced at him.
He continued, "You said you would only sit for a while and wouldn't do anything else, including talking?"
I still didn't say anything, but I told him the answer with my eyes.
Yes, that's right.
He sighed helplessly and stood up. "Wait for me; I'll get some drinks."
His movements were quick, and he came back in a few seconds with a glass of juice in front of me. He sat down on the table.
Seeing that I still had no intention of drinking the juice, he smiled and said, "It's not poisoned; you're really alert and cold now."
I still ignored him. He sighed again and shut his mouth.
He spoke again, seemingly unaffected by my lack of interest, just as I was beginning to think he would stay quiet like this forever. He could come up with something to say in a moment.
"Do you really have no intention of talking to me, Wren?"
