CHAPTER 15

"Where are we?" I asked. The car’s engine came to a stop underneath a huge red tree; the golden rays of the evening sun pierced through the leaves, radiating a beautiful view.

"My home," He answered, untucking his seatbelts. He stepped out of the packed car in his shiny black shoes, making his way towards my side of the car with his exquisitely tailored tuxedo that hung perfectly on his body, almost making his whole physique look unreal.

He made his way to me, opening the car doors and gesturing at me to get down from the car with his palm stretched out. I was flustered, but I had more pressing concerns as to why he would have brought me to his home.

I was shocked and confused at the same time. The fact that he was only twenty-three yet had a home of his own was something I was jealous of. I would have killed to have a place to call mine rather than having to stay under the same roof with my family, who never made life easy for me.
