"You're breath-taking." My waist was drawn closer to his. As he observed me, he had a tremendous smile on his face. I couldn't help but smile when I remembered earlier today.
"Terran, the ceremony is about to begin," I said as I tried to push him away, but my hands appeared to be too feeble to force him away. Even though we'd been together all day, I wanted him to be close to me. We've spent so much time together that we've forgotten we both have an event to prepare for. My Nana would be hosting the majority of the event and speeches, and I don't want to give her anything negative to say about me.
"It won't start without you," he said.
"Of course, I know; that's why I need to be there earlier," I replied. His grip on my waist softened, making it easy for me to release myself, but I didn't wish to be at the party or away from him, so I remained in his hands.
