CHAPTER 52

  “Why are you here?” Caesar asked, and his voice sounded like a growl as I shuddered before realising it was Caesar behind me.

   

  “I should ask you the same,” I retorted.

   

  “I’m currently staying at the mansion due to Emelia’s request, so I can be wherever I want to be,” he replied.

   

  “Good for you,” I stated. I was in a low mood to have a civil conversation with anyone else and had come to the kitchen to have a room to breathe and think properly.

   

  Ever since Terran said those words to me, I haven’t recovered. My mind and my head seem to not be cooperating to give me the perfect answer and solution to my problem.

   

  “Your presence in the kitchen is making the servants uncomfortable,” he said as he gestured at three female servants who stood quietly at a corner in the kitchen. I had not even noticed the presence of any other soul in the room until Caesar had to walk in.
