CHAPTER 63

  NALANI'S POV

"Nalani, we have to go," Terran murmured softly in my ears. I opened my eyes partly to view his face squarely opposite mine, but I held my head securely with a grimace on my face.

"Why? My head hurts," I complained as I shifted to the opposite side.

"My mother called; the elders are awaiting us in the mansion," he told me. It took a bit for my brain to realise what he was saying, but the moment I did, my eyes sprung wide.

I immediately regretted my abruptness because of the throbbing ache in my head that followed.

"Ah, my head." I winced in pain.

"Where does it hurt?" Terran asked. My eyes were closed, but I could feel him bending to meet me on the floor before placing his warm hands on my forehead.

The moment his hand made contact with my forehead, I could feel the ache slowly disappearing.

"You drank a lot last night."
