　　I fell to the ground, clutching my side in excruciating pain. It felt as if the world was collapsing around me. Confusion and fear coursed through my veins as I wondered why the pain had returned so suddenly. I couldn't understand what was happening, and panic began to set in.


　　The door burst open, and I looked up to see Brett standing there. He rushed toward me, concern etched on his face. "Ellissa, what's happening? Are you alright?" he asked, his voice filled with genuine worry.


　　But I couldn't bear to be near him. Not after everything he had done. Pushing him away, I struggled to get up from the floor. "Stay away from me, Brett!" I cried out, the pain and anger mingling in my voice.


　　Ignoring my words, Brett gently lifted me and placed me back on the bed. I tried to push him away again, but he held onto me firmly. I could see the unwavering determination in his eyes.
