CHAPTER 31 Must Get Her Back

I knew that Eden would try his best to make sure that I was not with her, and that was something I was not willing to take at all.

I opened the driver's door, flung myself into the car, and slammed the door shut. He fumbled with the seatbelt, muttering, "Why do they have to make these damn things so complicated?" I slammed his palms on the steering wheel and yelled, "Come on you stupid car. Start already!"

After a few attempts, the car finally roared to life. I revved the engine and peeled out of the parking lot. I drove recklessly, changing lanes without signaling and honking at other drivers. I grumbled, "Get out of my way, losers. Can't you see I'm in a hurry?"

The traffic lights seemed to turn red every time I approached them. I pounded my fists on the steering wheel and cursed at the red light. "Why won't you turn green, you piece of junk? I have places to be!"
