　　I gently pulled back, looking into Brett's eyes with a mixture of surprise and affection. I just wanted him inside me, to make me give him a puppy so he would no longer need Ellissa.


　　"Brett," I whispered, her voice soft and filled with tenderness. "I appreciate you, but If you want to take things slowly..."


　　"I want you, Jen." I heard him say, but I wanted to make him beg for me. Yeah, let me see my worth in his eyes.


　　"And Ellissa…?" I looked into his eyes.


　　"Just leave her out of this; I just want my pup from her; you are now my mate."


　　I smiled and reached out, cupping his cheek in my hand. Her touch was gentle and comforting. "I don't want our relationship to be based on circumstances or only seeking fulfillment and desires. I want our love to be genuine and built on a solid foundation. I betrayed my sister and friend for you."


　　I leaned in, pressing a soft kiss on his lips, which he took over.
