CHAPTER 63 What's Going On?

  Ellissa's POV

As I slowly emerge from the bed, a flicker of awareness begins to ignite within me, illuminating my surroundings. The world around me appears hazy and indistinct, as if seen through a dense fog. My eyelids flutter open, revealing a pair of tired, searching eyes.

With a groan of pain, I try to move but am met with a sharp jolt of agony resonating through my head. A throbbing headache pulsates behind my temples, causing me to wince. The pain intensifies as I attempt to sit up, but my weakened body rebels against my will.

Confusion envelops my thoughts as I struggle to comprehend my predicament. My throat feels parched, dry and scratchy like a desert. The need for water is overwhelming. I try to speak, but my voice comes out as nothing more than a hoarse whisper, barely audible even to my own ears.
