Sophia slowly walked to where Bernard was, her gaze shifted to where he dropped some documents and photos. Sophia elegantly sat down and crossed her legs gracefully.
"You've worked for my family for years, Bernard…are you telling me you can't fix this?" Sophia remarked proudly and gestured for him to pour her some champagne. Bernard was in his mid-forties and worked for her family. He was her trusted man. He was aggressive looking and imposing, not bad looking despite his age. As he swiftly walked to Sophia and poured her a drink.
"Tell me…is it so difficult to eliminate the threat!" Sophia made a low yell, and Bernard lowered his head immediately. A smirk crept on her face as she took a sip of her champagne and leaned forward to pick up one of the documents. Her eyes narrowed disdainfully as she lifted the document up.
"This…" she tossed the paper away and looked up at Bernard.
