Aiden regained his senses and hesitantly walked further in. Grace composed herself and hurried to Aiden's side.
"You're here," Grace said awkwardly and grabbed Aiden's hand. Caesar, on the other hand, did not flinch as he half sat on the desk. His eyes didn't leave Grace one bit.
"What are you doing here?" Aiden coldly asked Caesar,
"To get an explanation from Ms Grace why she terminated our contract…and chose my rival," Caesar said nonchalantly as both men stood face to face, Grace could feel the tension in the room increasing even more. She had never seen Caesar act so bold before. He didn't weaver as his sharp eyes bore into Aiden's burning eyes.
"This is not her fault… Mr Russell made the decision…" Aiden remarked defensively. Even so, Caesar glanced at Grace and smiled. Just his behavior had Grace sweating from fright. What if Caesar said something about that night to Aiden.
