Watching Replays

Lonah turned her attention to Glays, "Why don't you bet on AKA Jonte?"

"Nah! I can't, can you?" Glays exclaimed, nodding her head.

John looked at the countdown on the screen: 37 Hrs:56 Mins:22 Secs. He waved a quick goodbye and made his way to the parking lot. As he walked away, Glays shouted after him, "Lonah, I place $1000 on my bet!"

"What? $1000! That's a lot at stake. Make sure you don't hang yourself after everything slip on your side. Okay?" Lonah turned her face to Glays who was still busy betting through the phone app 'SUREWIN BET'.

"Nah! Just wait and you will see. I have hope in my bets. I don't disappoint...If you are clever, increase your stake to stand high chances of the mega million winnings." Glays contemplated. Her full attention on the bets.

"I don't want to arrest myself and get imprisoned in the hell of poverty. Ah... You do it alone. I have staked $150 to win $250. That's enough money for me." Lonah stated to Glays.

"The money is mine. I got it out of my sweat and no one will question it. I am doing this for fun. What about John who has staked for the competition? Do you know how much money one needs to get the ticket for the premier competition?" Glays asked repeatedly.

"Nah... Cool. I was just curious about the high stakes you are making. If you are okay I don't have any problem but take note. What does the betting company say, {Play responsibly}!" Lonah calmed Glays and pointed over her phone at the top center of her phone.

"Someone like John has staked not less than $250,000 on the tournament. What will you advise him?" Glays asked

"I am not into that please! Let's get back and concentrate on what brought us here." Lonah got tired of Galys argument and turned her attention to the projections screens.

However, John, having proceeded to the parking lot where he had parked his motorcycle, left Glays and Lonah behind, really discussing their stakes and whom to bet for. That was not John's activity therefore he thought for himself of the preparations.

"Where does he get the money to register for such a tournament?" Lonah asked, looking at Glays.

"I have no idea," Glays replied, shaking her head. "Maybe it's a loan or something."

"Or maybe he has a secret sponsor," Lonah suggested, smirking.

"Or maybe he's just really lucky," Glays said with a laugh. "But seriously, where does he get the experience? We've never heard of him in the racing scene."

Lonah nodded thoughtfully. "True. He doesn't exactly scream seasoned racer. Maybe he's just a dark horse."

Glays fell silent for a moment, her mind racing with thoughts about John. Her inner voice echoed, 'I'm already a celebrity. I can't be seen moving in with him, even if my parents had entered the agreement. That's something I won't allow easily. Someone who doesn't even own an expensive car...'

John, now on his motorcycle, decided to go back home to refresh himself before returning. He needed to clear his mind and prepare for the intense tournament.

In about two hours, John arrived at Washington in Greenland City. The gate was opened by the gateman as usual. After parking his motorcycle, he rushed into the house.

The cool air of the house embraced him as he walked in. John kicked off his shoes and headed straight for the shower. The warm water cascading over his body helped wash away the fatigue and anxiety of the day. The steam filled the bathroom, creating a calming atmosphere. He stood under the stream, letting the water soothe his tense muscles.

After his shower, John wrapped himself in a towel and walked to his bedroom. He grabbed his phone and flopped onto his bed, feeling the weight of the day lifting off him. He decided to relax by watching some videos on YouTube. He searched for previous motorcycle racing tournaments, eager to study his potential competitors.

He clicked on a video titled "Epic Showdown: Nicko vs. Ramjar." The screen filled with the roar of engines and the cheering of fans. The camera panned to the starting line, where Nicko and Ramjar were lined up, their bikes revving with raw power. The announcer's voice boomed over the speakers, hyping up the crowd.

"Here we go, folks! It's the moment we've all been waiting for! Nicko and Ramjar, the fiercest rivals in the racing world, are about to go head-to-head once again!"

The video cut to various angles of the race, capturing the intensity and skill of the racers. Nicko, with his aggressive style, took the lead early on. The crowd roared as he maneuvered through the first corner with precision. Ramjar, not to be outdone, closed the gap, his eyes focused and determined.

"And there goes Nicko, taking the inside line! But Ramjar is right on his tail, folks! This is anyone's race!"

John watched in awe as the two racers pushed their bikes to the limit, overtaking each other at every opportunity. The fans in the stands were on their feet, their cheers blending into a deafening roar. The announcers added to the excitement, their voices filled with passion and enthusiasm.

"Nicko and Ramjar are neck and neck! This is unbelievable! The skill, the speed, the sheer determination! What a race!"

The video showed the final lap, where Nicko and Ramjar were side by side. The tension was palpable as they approached the finish line. In a dramatic finish, Nicko managed to edge out Ramjar by a mere fraction of a second. The crowd erupted in cheers as Nicko crossed the line first, raising his arms in victory.

"What an incredible finish! Nicko takes it by a hair! This is what racing is all about!"

John could feel his heart pounding as if he were right there at the track. The video ended with highlights of the race and interviews with the racers. He closed the video, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness about his own upcoming race.

Suddenly, his phone rang, interrupting his thoughts. The caller ID showed it was Mike.

"Hey, it's been so long, buddy!" Mike's cheerful voice greeted him.

"Mike! It really has been. How have you been?" John replied, a smile spreading across his face.

"Good, good. Just saw something interesting on the sports news from Sky News. Are you the John that I know?"

John laughed. "Yeah, that's me. Decided to try my hand at this racing thing."

"Wow, man! That's incredible! Didn't know you had it in you. So, what's the deal? How did this all come about?"

John hesitated for a moment, then said, "It's a long story. Let's just say I got an opportunity I couldn't pass up."

"Well, I'm rooting for you. This is so exciting! You know I'm a huge fan of racing. I'll be watching it live from the TV."

"Thanks, Mike. I appreciate it. I'm a bit nervous, but also really excited."

"Don't be. You've got this, John. Just ride like you always do. Remember those days when I saw you taking a ride on your bike around the neighborhood street?"

John chuckled. "Yeah, those were the days. This is a bit different, though."

"Of course. But the principle's the same. Just stay focused and keep your cool. You'll do great."

"Thanks, Mike. Your support means a lot."

"Anytime, buddy. And hey, if you need anything, just give me a shout. I'll be cheering for you all the way."

"Will do, Mike. Thanks again. Talk to you soon."

"Take care, John. And good luck!"

John hung up, feeling a renewed sense of confidence. With friends like Mike supporting him, he knew he could face whatever challenges lay ahead.

Suddenly, as John clicked on the bottom to put off the phone data. The familiar voice was heard in his mind with a message prompt forming in front of him.

[Ding! Congratulations for the investment made in the tournament!]

'Wait... Was that an investment?' John asked silently in his mind.

[The Host has to be aware that the money that is transacted is something that stands a chance for the profit or loss that is investment.]

"What about the $50,000 I withdrew previously on my personal expenses?" John asked the so-called System.

[In brief, that counts your expenses and the rebate multiplication won't be applied.]

[Note: The money that the Host gets after rebate system multiplication, will only attract rewards from the system on reinvestment .]

"You mean that the interest you get on the money that's already applied on will attract the rebate multiplication?" John asked?

[ Exactly!...The Host has it. His reward is ready. Is the Host ready for the reward to take the tournament?]
