How we throw a party tonight?

The camaraderie between them was palpable, and the media captured every moment. Fans cheered from the sidelines, excited to see their favorite racers together. Flashlights of cameras filled up in the air as John's phone buzzed.

John navigated through the sea of reporters and fans, his phone buzzing with an incoming call. Glancing at the screen, he saw it was his friend from Greenland Streets, Mike.

"Hey, Mike! Did you really catch the race?" John shouted over the noise, a grin spreading across his face.

"Of course, I did! You were incredible, man! I can't believe you broke the record," Mike replied, his voice full of excitement. "We need to celebrate. How about we throw a party tonight?"

John chuckled. "That sounds like a great idea. I could use a good celebration after all this excitement."

Mike laughed. "Perfect! I'll handle the arrangements. Just show up at The Golden Oasis Hotel at 8 PM. It's going to be epic!"

"Will do. See you then!" John ended the call, his heart racing with anticipation for the celebration ahead being offered by a friend.

As soon as John agreed to the bash, Mike sprang into action. He dialed the number for The Golden Oasis Hotel, a grand establishment renowned for its luxurious accommodations and impeccable service.

It was located in the heart of the Golden City, the hotel stood as a testament to opulence and elegance. The facade was adorned with intricate gold accents, and the grand entrance was framed by towering marble columns.

"Hellow, thanks for reaching Golden Oasis Hotel, how can I assist you today?" a polished voice answered.

"Hey, this is Mike. I'd like to book your ballroom for tonight," Mike said, trying to keep the excitement from his voice.

"Certainly, Mr. Mike. Our ballroom can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. What time would you like to reserve it for?" the receptionist asked.

"We'll need it from 8 PM. It's for a celebration bash for John, the new world record holder in racing," Mike explained.

"That's wonderful! We have a few packages available. The premium package, which includes a DJ which is optional, drinks, and light appetizers, costs $25,000 for the evening. Would that suit your needs?" the receptionist offered.

"That sounds perfect. Let's go with the premium package," Mike agreed.

"Great! We require a 50% deposit upfront, which would be $15,500. How would you like to make the payment?" the receptionist inquired.

"I'll pay online over the phone," Mike said, provide me with the details.

"Thank you, Mr. Johnson. Once your payments are made and confirmed, don't worry about the booking. We'll see you at 8 PM," the receptionist confirmed.

Mike hung up, made the payments and immediately called John back. "Hey, Jonte, it's all set. The Golden Oasis Hotel, 8 PM. Get ready for an unforgettable night!"

Later that evening, John arrived at The Golden Oasis Hotel. The lobby was vast, with high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and plush seating areas.

As John stepped inside, he was greeted by the sight of the hotel's ballroom, decorated with banners celebrating his achievement. A large banner that read "Congratulations, John!" hung above the stage. "This all had been done by Mike. What a friend? This is incredible!" John said.

The room was filled with round tables covered in crisp white linens, each adorned with elegant floral centerpieces. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter, music, and clinking glasses. The hotel's DJ was already setting up, preparing for a night of lively music and entertainment.

"Jonte! Jonte! Jonte!" the crowd chanted as John walked in, raising their glasses in his honor.

John waved and made his way to the bar, where Mike was waiting with a wide grin. "You made it! Let's get this party started," Mike said, handing him a drink.

The two friends clinked glasses, and John took a sip of his drink, savoring the moment. "Thanks for setting this up, Mike. It's just what I needed."

"Anything for the new world record holder," Mike replied with a wink.

Carlos and Nicko joined the conversation, each holding a drink. "You know, John," Carlos said with a playful grin, "I think we should start calling you 'Speed Demon' from now on."

Nicko laughed. "Or how about 'The Flash'? You were a blur on that track!"

John rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "I'll take whatever nickname you guys want to give me, as long as you keep cheering me on."

The banter continued, filled with jokes and lighthearted teasing. The DJ, hired by the hotel, started playing upbeat music that got the crowd dancing. The selection included a mix of classic hits and modern tracks, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed.

As the night progressed, John found himself surrounded by laughter and good company. He shared stories of the race, and the moments of doubt he overcame. The crowd hung on his every word, their admiration evident.

At one point, Mike tapped a spoon against his glass, getting everyone's attention. "Alright, everyone! I think it's time for a toast," Mike announced, raising his glass. "To John, the fastest man on two wheels! May your victories be many, and your speed ever-increasing!"

The crowd raised their glasses and echoed the toast, cheers and laughter filling the air. John felt a surge of gratitude for his friends and supporters. He knew that their unwavering belief in him was a big part of his success.

As the DJ transitioned into a slower song, John noticed Emily Harper, the private banker who had helped him earlier, standing near the edge of the dance floor. He made his way over to her, a smile on his face.

"Quite a night, huh?" John said, leaning against the railing and looking out at the city lights through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

"Absolutely. I still can't believe all that's happened," Emily replied, sipping her drink.

Emily smiled. "You deserve every bit of it. Your hard work and dedication have paid off in the best way possible."

"Thanks, Emily. And thank you for helping me with the financial stuff. It's a lot to process, but knowing it's in good hands makes it easier," John said sincerely.

"That's what I'm here for," Emily replied with a warm smile. "Now, you should get back to your party. This is your night, after all."

John nodded. "You're right. Thanks again, Emily."

He returned to the dance floor, where Mike, Carlos, and Nicko were attempting to outdance each other, much to the amusement of the crowd. The DJ picked up the pace, and the music shifted to a high-energy track that had everyone jumping and dancing in sync.

Amidst the laughter and dancing, John couldn't help but feel a profound sense of happiness. The drinks flowed freely, with the bar serving a variety of beverages, including premium cocktails, sparkling water, and non-alcoholic beers.

For those who wanted something with a bit more kick, there were options like craft beers and fine whiskeys, though nothing too strong to keep the atmosphere lively and light-hearted.

Mike, ever the life of the party, grabbed the microphone from the DJ booth. "Alright, everyone! Time for some fun trivia! Let's see how well you know our champion here. First question: What's John's favorite pre-race meal?"

Carlos immediately shouted, "Eggs and bacon!"

Nicko countered with, "No, it's got to be oatmeal!"

John laughed, shaking his head. "You're both wrong. It's actually a big bowl of spaghetti. Carbs for energy, you know?"

The crowd laughed, and Mike continued with more questions, each one adding to the jovial atmosphere. John felt like he was in his element, surrounded by friends and fans who celebrated not just his victory, but the journey that brought him here.

As the night went on, John noticed Glays and Lonah at the far end of the ballroom. They were engaged in deep conversation, occasionally glancing his way with proud smiles.

Around midnight, the party showed no signs of slowing down. The DJ switched to a nostalgic set, playing hits from the past that got everyone singing along. Mike, now a bit tipsy, tried to lead the crowd in a rendition of "Don't Stop Believin',earning him a round of applause for his enthusiasm, if not his singing ability.

John took a moment to step outside onto the balcony, needing a breather from the excitement. The cool night air was refreshing, and he gazed out at the city lights, feeling a mix of exhilaration and gratitude. This was a night he'd never forget, a celebration of not just his victory, but of the journey and the people who made it all possible.

As he stood there, Mike joined him, a satisfied smile on his face. "You know, Jonte, this is just the beginning. You've got a bright future ahead of you."

John nodded, his heart full. "I know, Mike. And I couldn't have done it without you and everyone else. This is a team victory, as much as it's mine."

Mike clapped him on the back. "Well, here's to many more victories. And remember, I'll always be with you to plan for the future!"

John laughed, feeling a deep sense of camaraderie. "Thanks, Mike. Now, let's get back to the party. I think the DJ just started playing our song."
