Roman walked through the campus quad, heading towards his next class. He's lost in thought, replaying his recent conversations with Ethan and his teammates.

Roman spots Lily sitting under a large oak tree, deeply engrossed in her book. He hesitates for a moment, then decides to approach a group of students nearby who seem to know her.

Roman: "Hey, you know that girl over there? The one reading?"

One of the students, a friendly-looking girl named Sarah, glances over and smiles.

Sarah: "Oh, that's Lily Turner. She's new here, just transferred last month."

Curiosity piqued, Roman asks a few more questions, trying to gather information without seeming too interested.

Roman: "What's her story? She seems...different."

Sarah shrugs, clearly eager to share what she knows.

Sarah: "She's pretty quiet, keeps to herself mostly. Loves fantasy novels. I heard she's really smart, too."

Roman nods, thanking Sarah before walking away, his mind buzzing with newfound curiosity.

Roman (V.O.): "Lily Turner. So that's her name."

Throughout the day, Roman finds himself distracted, thoughts of Lily intruding during lectures and practice. He tries to focus on his usual activities but keeps returning to the image of her reading under the tree.

Roman (V.O.): "Why can't I stop thinking about her? This is getting ridiculous."

Later, Roman meets Ethan at the gym, needing to talk through his confusion.

Roman: "I found out her name. It's Lily Turner."

Ethan raises an eyebrow, smirking.

Roman sighed, frustration evident in his voice.

Roman: "I don't know, man. I just… I want to know more about her. But I don't want to come off as weird."

Roman decides to approach Lily in a less direct manner. He starts frequenting the library more often, knowing she spends a lot of time there. One afternoon, he notices she's struggling to reach a book on a high shelf.

Roman : Yeah nice to meet you again Lilly."

Roman lying in bed, staring at the ceiling, a slight smile playing on his lips as he thinks about Lily. The barriers around his heart begin to show signs of cracking.
