Who do you think the spirits listen to?

Well, at least for now. Sir Lamorak speaking up behind her didn't instill any confidence in her that she had done a good job.

"Sire, if you had heard the other knights speaking in the same way that some of the Lord's were speaking, you would have washed their mouths out with soap." Artie gave Sir Lamorak a glare over her shoulder as Sir Kay tensed more under her hand. Sir Lamorak shrugged. He didn't smile, which told Artie that they were still in dangerous territory.

"None of my knights did, and I did not have to do that to anyone. Now stand down, or else the spirits are going to get angrier. You are not the only ones who I have to quell." Artie jerked her head in Sir Lancelot's direction and Sir Lamorak glanced at the third man. "That idiot may be keeping himself together better on the outside, but I'm feeling he's the one who alerted the spirits." Sir Percy's laughter filled the air and Artie had to force herself not to jump. She hadn't expected it.
