Training

Ling Tian nodded, absorbing his father's words. He felt a renewed sense of purpose, knowing that his family believed in him and would support him on his journey.

"I'll make you proud,"

Ling Tian vowed.

"I'll achieve the cultivation necessary to protect us all and uncover the secrets of my past and this strange treasure."

His mother's eyes were filled with love and determination, as she added,

"We believe in you, Tian'er. But remember, your journey is not just about power. It's about growing as a person and cherishing the bonds we share."

Ling Tian nodded, taking his mother's words to heart.

"I understand, Mother. I won't lose sight of what's important."

Just then, a soft knock sounded on the door. It creaked open to reveal Xin'er, looking a bit tired but otherwise healthy. Her eyes lit up when she saw her brother.

"Big Brother!" she exclaimed, rushing to his side and hugging him tightly. "I'm so glad you're okay!"

Ling Tian hugged her back, relief flooding through him. He ruffled her head as he spoke to her with a loving voice.

"I'm glad you're okay too, Xin'er. I promise I'll always protect you."

His parents smiled, the warmth of the moment wrapping around them like a comforting blanket. The family sat together, feeling closer than ever.

After a while, Ling Tian's father spoke again.

"Now, Tian'er, tell us more about this treasure you mentioned. The one that seems to be connected to your past lives."

Ling Tian took a deep breath and began to explain the ancient ruins and the encounter with the strange space-time cube that resides within his sea of consciousness.

He described the immense power and potential he sensed from them, and how they were linked to his death and his newly discovered cultivation technique, the Eternal Transcendent Scripture.

As he spoke, his parents listened with rapt attention, their faces a mix of curiosity and concern. They asked questions, wanting to understand more about the dangers and possibilities these treasures held.

"This cube… it's a supreme treasure with the nature of Space-Time," Ling Tian explained. "I believe it's the reason for my reincarnation and the source of the Eternal Transcendent Scripture. The power within it feels boundless, but also familiar."

Ling Tian decided to keep the unknown treasure hidden from his family because even he did not understand its nature and feared an unknown reaction if others knew about it.

The treasure seemed sentient, and he didn't want to risk any unforeseen consequences.

His father nodded thoughtfully and spoke to Ling Tian.

"This treasure could be both a blessing and a curse, Tian'er. You must be cautious. Seek to understand its full potential, but don't let it consume you, and most importantly don't tell another person about your treasure and the cultivation technique."

Ling Tian agreed, feeling the weight of his father's advice.

"I will, Father. I'll approach this with care and wisdom. I'll unlock their secrets and use their power to protect our family and achieve my goals."

His mother added,

"And remember, Tian'er, you're not alone. We're here with you, every step of the way."

Just as they finished with the topic, Xin'er, who had been playing quietly on the bed, suddenly came running up to Ling Tian. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she reached her brother's side.

"Big Brother!" Xin'er exclaimed, tugging at his sleeve. "Can we play now? You promised we would play together!"

Ling Tian smiled warmly at his little sister, feeling a surge of affection and responsibility.

"Of course, Xin'er. Let's go play."

He turned to his parents, who nodded approvingly. Ling Tian knew that moments like these were precious.

Despite the immense power he sought and the heavy burden of his past, it was these simple joys and the love of his family that truly mattered.

As Ling Tian and Xin'er played together, laughter filled the room, and for a while, the weight of destiny and ambition faded into the background. Ling Tian was reminded of what he was fighting for—the happiness and safety of those he loved.

After playing for quite a while, Ling Tian picked her up in a hug and said,

"Sorry, Xin'er, now I have to go and do my daily training."

Xin'er pouted a little but nodded, understanding her brother's dedication.

"Okay, big brother, but promise you'll play with me again later."

Ling Tian smiled and kissed her forehead.

"I promise. I'll always make time for my dear little princess."

He gently put her down and watched as she ran off to play with her toys. Ling Tian's heart felt full as he turned and walked toward his training area. The bond he shared with his sister fueled his determination to become stronger.

While walking towards the training hall he remembered his daily training routine of the past five years and said aloud with an amused tone.

"I can't believe I was doing 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and 10 km run daily for the past five years. I remember reading it in one of my favorite books when I was a mortal in my first life, I used to read it pretty often back then."

Then he laughed out loud and said

"Can't believe that I didn't get bald with all that training."

He spoke till here with a smirk amusingly, just as he thought about all of this, he reached the training hall.

In the quiet of his training space, Ling Tian began his exercises, each movement precise and controlled.

He focused on the principles of the Eternal Transcendent Scripture, channeling his qi and refining his control over the energy within him.

As he trained, he could feel the power of the space-time cube within his sea of consciousness, its presence a constant reminder of his potential.

He pushed himself harder, driven by the promise he had made to protect his family and achieve his ambitions.

'This power... it feels limitless, and is it helping me in mastering the Space intent?'

He thought, feeling the cube's energy pulse within him.

'I can't waste this second chance. I have to become stronger, for them.'

Hours passed, and Ling Tian's body ached with the exertion, but he welcomed the pain as a sign of progress. He knew that each step he took brought him closer to mastering his newfound abilities and realizing his destiny.

I won't let what happened in my past life repeat itself. I will protect them all, no matter the cost.

When he finally stopped, sweat poured down his face, but his eyes shone with determination. He took a deep breath, centering himself, and thought of his family—his parents, his sister, and the home he was determined to protect.

'For them, I will transcend every realm. I will conquer every challenge.'

It was evening when Ling Tian finished his training. His body ached from the rigorous exercises, but he felt a sense of accomplishment. After washing up and changing into clean clothes, he stood for a moment in his room, pondering his next steps.

'There are so many things I need to understand. Father might have answers that can guide me.'

The glow of the setting sun cast long shadows through the windows, filling the room with a warm, golden light. He thought about his progress and the questions that still lingered in his mind.

'The space-time cube, the Eternal Transcendent Scripture, the unknown treasure... there must be more to learn, more to uncover about all of them and the mystery of my reincarnation.'

After a few minutes of contemplation, he decided to seek out his father. There were important matters he needed to discuss, and he knew his father could provide the guidance he sought.

He left his room and walked through the long, dimly lit hallways of the mansion. The walls were adorned with tapestries and paintings depicting the proud history of the Yuan family.

His footsteps echoed softly against the marble floors as he made his way toward his father's study. The space-time cube, the Eternal Transcendent Scripture... there must be more to learn, more to uncover.
