CHAPTER 2: YOUR RULER’S VIEW

Wandering around, thinking of the possible place fegrance would be. Appeared in front of her castle. Looking around, while she whispered to herself 

"This is strange, it looks the same way. There's no way fegrance would have so much power, and still make no change here. The fegrance I know love fancy things". All this she said as she walks around. Looking at each corner. 

As expected, the thought of Mena came again. As usual, the fear and worry of where she could be and what she would be doing. Or what fegrance has done to the... 'school'. 

"The school!". She said continuously in her mind. Became too much, then she said it out loud. She disappears. 

Standing in the midst of students. non she was familiar with 

"What has fegrance done to my legacy". Zyron lost in thought. 

She moves forward, lost in her thought, didn't even notice that fegrance was standing next to her. She walked pass. Fegrance inhale deeply, with her eyes closed. Almost like she felt Zyron's presence. 

Zyron moves straightly to Mena's former office. Looking around. So many changes. She moves to the hidden school walls. The place of training. As she reminisces, only to see the presence looking so different and empty. She moved from one spot to the other till she came to a stop. Fegrance layer, unknowing to her. 

"What has fegrance done? Where the hell is Mena? There must be something I can do, something…. The world can't remain like this. I have to do something. But first I need to keep a close eye on fegrance. Even if it is risky to be around her. I have to. It's the only way". She concluded in her mind as she disappeared 

Days of monitoring... fegrance was walking in the midst of mortal. She bumped into one fat lady. And her groceries fell on the ground. Fegrance stepped on her tomatoes as she tried to picked the things that fell from the ground. The woman got really pissed. She dropped the things she managed to pick up. 

"Can't you see! Huh. You rude rich lady. Just because you're rich, doesn't mean you would treat people like trash. Now you have to pick all this thing up". The woman said looking so furious. 

Fegrance, chuckled calmly. A mischievous smile plays across her cheek. Stare of mockery. As she attempted to quietly walk away. The woman grabbed her arm and push her back to the original spot. 

"I meant what I said, pick it up". She yelled this time. 

Once again fegrance chuckled. This got the woman. As she picked up the gallon of oil from the ground. Opened it and turned the whole thing on fegrance body. And she was putting on a white outfit. 

Fegrance got so furious. Few incantations. Her feet were far away from the ground. The movement in the place at that given time was paused. Then she came down, Looked furiously at the woman. From the ground, monsters where formed. Surrounding that particular lady. The movement was restored. Immediately, as they saw the monsters. The all tried to run away. But their feet where stuck to the ground. 

"Eat her". Fegrance said 

Immediately the did as commanded, while the rest mortals watched. Fegrance left the scene with this words "Stupid mortals". 

Zyron just standing, watching everything. And the change happened.... 

Left the scene. Walking on a quiet street. 

"She's stronger than I thought. Damn! They must be a connection. They must be. What do I do. How do I get this information. No amount of intoxication would make that witch talk. Damn it!". She whispered to herself. 

Zyron disappeared 

Appeared in minderburg high. Night hour, walking pass each class room, trying to come up with a plan. While she walks pass, a door in front of her opens slowly, then closed itself. This drew Zyron's attention. She moves closer, and piped through the window. 

Fegrance!... Turns out there was a secret passage…. Leading to where?... Zyron followed the same route as Fegrance. 

This passage leads to some kind of shrine. With so many weird things. The things around got Zyron's attention, and she lost focus that she was in the lion's den. 

Fegrance on the other hand smells her. A big hit on the wall, Zyron was down. The hit was directed to her. She groans in pain as she struggles to get up. Fegrance heard her moans and she began to laugh, so loud. 

"You fool! So, you think am not aware, that you've been intruding, huh! You should have remained with the rest of your dead kind". Fegrance said with furry in her eyes. The closer she came to Zyron, the more visible she gets. Fegrance squat really close to her. 

"You look the same, the same weak, tired, lousy god". She got up and started laughing, as she walks around in circle. "So now what huh! what do you plan to do? you're vulnerable, there's nothing you can do, you're dead. Say something" she yelled 

"Where is Mena?". Zyron asked 

Fegrance giggled. "You're even more foolish than I thought". She started making incantations. As she did, irons started coming out from the ground, in a cage form. All around zyron, till it completely covers her. 

She left with this word "When you're done thinking, you'll let me know, so I send you back to your tomb". 

......… Zyron felt even more vulnerable.
