CHAPTER 36

Xu Kai walked in, and Cheng Xiao was still talking on the phone.

"So, what will happen to Ji Xiting now?" Shen Mu asked.

"I don't know. I don't know what I should say to him, after all Mr. Xu dragged me in front of him in the middle of our date. What can I say now that I was on the date with him and at the end of the day, I ended up being married to my boss." Cheng Xiao replied with a heavy heart.

"I'm really sorry I didn't know this would happen." Shen Mu apologized feeling guilty.

"It's fine, what is done is done. If only Mr. Xu can go with me to annul the marriage..." Xu Kai snatched the phone from and hang up the phone.

"Cheng Xiao I really don't want to repeat myself when I say that there will be no divorce. Come to bed and sleep, you have to come with me to the office tomorrow." Xu Kai warned.

"I don't want to go back." She replied stubbornly.

"So, I guess your dream of being a jewelry designer was all a lie." He said raising his brow.

"You, you will let me a designer?" She asked standing up.

"Yes, but you will still be my secretary." He said as a matter of fact.

"Then how will I become a designer." She asked disappointed.

"When you can find a suitable assistant then I will transfer you to the design team." He spoke.

"Really you will do that?" She asked to make sure that he was serious.

"Yes!" He replied and went to lie on the bed.

"Come on." He said petting on the bed the spot next to him.

"It's fine, I'll sleep on the couch." She said turning to walk to the couch.

"Cheng Xiao, the bed is big enough for the both of us and I won't touch you. At least not now." He said but said the last sentence in a low voice which she didn't hear.

Cheng Xiao looked at the bed and it was big indeed, if she slept on the edge then there would be no physical contact between the two. She walked slowly and got in the bed and kept a distance from him. Xu Kai watched how she moved closer to the edge and just turned around.

She was now his, so he would make sure that she fell in love with him. One thing that he was sure would bring her closer to him was to make her live her dream, whenever she uses to talk about her major in design, she always had a sad tone. He had already done the investigation and found out that she really applied for a designing position but got hired as his secretary.

Fate brought them together, now he was going to make sure that she gets to do what she really wants, but as for that man she had gone on the date with she would just have to get over him. He turned and watched that she had fallen asleep, she was about to fall off, but he quickly grabbed her and pulled her closer and slept with her in his arms.
