CHAPTER 37

Cheng Xiao woke up and found herself in Xu Kai's arms. She was in shock; she decided to move a bit, but he tightened his grip around her waist and pulled her even closer.

"Xu Kai you said you wouldn't touch, but what is this?" She asked trying to break free.

"Look at the side you are first before you start accusing me." He said letting her go.

"You pulled me to you." She asked stammering.

"I pulled you?" He asked raising his brow.

"Whatever!" She said and got off the bed and went to the bathroom.

After ten minutes she came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body, Xu Kai looked at her slender legs and swallowed.

"Stop looking and go wash." She said when she felt his hot gaze.

Xu Kai stood up and went to wash up as well. When she saw that he left, she went to and opened the closet and found that her clothes had already been neatly arranged as well as her shoes. Most of her clothes was still at her and Shen Mu's apartment.

After she finished, she went downstairs and found the maids arranging breakfast. 

"Is sir joining you for breakfast?" Mr. Wang asked.

"Yes, he'll be down when he finishes." She said and took a sit on the dining table.

 Xu Kai walked down the stairs and went to the dining room and saw Cheng Xiao already seated. 

"When can we get the marriage annulled?" She asked as soon as he sat down.

"Cheng Xiao!" He warned and didn't say anything further.

"Eat so we can go." He said and started eating.

"I'll take a bus." She said taking a sip of the orange juice.

"And why is that?" He asked putting his utensils down.

"I don't want anyone to know about our situation." She replied looking at him.

"Why would they? Is it the first time that you ride with me to work?" He questioned.

"No, but now it's different." She replied softly.

"And who will know. If they suspect, we can always announce that we are a legal married couple." He spoke.

"Don't you dare." She said her eyes widening.

"I don't want anyone to know." She added.

"We can just announce it to save trouble. Soon or later, they'll find." He replied shrugging his shoulders.

"So, that I get to be called names. That I used you to climb the social ladder, no thanks." She said annoyed.

"Whatever you say." He said and stood up to leave.

Cheng Xiao thanked Mr. Wang for the food and followed Xu kai to the car. They both got into the back and the driver started the car.

The car arrived and they both got out. As they walked into the office, many colleagues were shocked to see that Cheng Xiao back. Most of them couldn't contain themselves and walked up to her.

"Miss Cheng you really came back." one of them asked her, Cheng Xiao nodded and followed Xu Kai.
