"Tell me later." Shen Mu grabbed Cheng Xiao and whispered in her ear.
Cheng Xiao nodded and left; she followed Xu Kai to his office. "I heard that you fired a lot of people." She asked after she closed the door.
"And whose fault is that?" He asked sitting down.
"Well I will call them back, the reasons why they were fired is even ridiculous." She spoke.
"I don't need those people." Xu Kai said as a matter of a fact.
"They need a second chance; you gave me a second chance." She said trying to convince him.
"Cheng Xiao, you are different." He spoke.
"Xu Kai, you fired one for not making the coffee right." She replied recalling all the calls that she received when she was at home.
"Do whatever you want, but if they mess up, they are fired." He said and she nodded before leaving the office.
Cheng Xiao walked to the HR; the head of HR was shocked to see her back again.
"Miss Cheng you're back." He asked in shock.
"Yes, I wanted to give you the list of these people. You can call them to come back to work." She said handing him the list.
"Ms. Cheng isn't this the people that Mr. Xu fired." He asked in confusion.
"Yes, but you can call them back to work. I think the reasons as to why they were fired was ridiculous." Cheng Xiao replied.
"But Mr. Xu..." He started but was cut off.
"Don't worry and call, if there is any issue then I will deal with it." She said besides one of them was a loyal employee at the company and had a family to feed.
"It's nice to have you back Ms. Cheng." He said respectfully, although he also felt that they lost their jobs over nothing was ridiculous, there was nothing that he could do to help him.
"Yes, but we have to find a new secretary for Mr. Xu." She replied.
"Are you planning on leaving." He asked in worry.
"Remember I major in Design, so I'll be transferring there." She replied and before he could say anything else she turned to leave.
He was shocked, but then remembered that indeed when she first applied, she applied for the position of designer. Back then they were desperate, and she happened to have made coffee, but stepped out for a few minutes and when she turned back her coffee was gone. Next thing she got a call telling her that she got the job, but when she arrived, she found out that she had been hired as his secretary.
When she told them that she applied for a designer position, they said that the spot was taken, and they would transfer her as soon as a spot opened. This went on for seven years and whenever the spot opened, they would fill it and tell her next time. She went back to her desk and started working immediately. Some colleagues looked at her with a smile, while others scorned when they saw her.
