CHAPTER 45

"You're fired!" Xu Kai spoke to his new assistant the moment she walked in.

"Sir, did I do anything wrong?" She asked.

"No, but get out!" He said coldly.

The girl went outside with tears in her eyes, she really wanted to do this job, but what can she do now that she was fired. She had a brother that she wanted to send to school.

"What happened, why are you crying." Cheng Xiao asked seeing the tears. 

"Mr. Xu fired me." She said sadly.

"He what?" Cheng Xiao asked with a bit of anger and stormed into his office.

"What's the meaning of this?" She asked as soon as she opened the door.

"What are you talking about?" He asked playing dumb.

"Why did you fire her?" She asked with a bit of anger in her voice.

"Her perfume is too strong."' He said shrugging his shoulder.

"Her perfume?" Cheng Xiao breathed in, she wanted to explode and strangle him.

"Xu Kai, the agreement was that I would find a replacement from you and transfer, so why do you keep firing every assistant I bring to you." Cheng Xiao asked angrily.

Cheng Xiao walked closer to his desk.

"What is it exactly that you want?" She asked pressing her hands down on the desk.

"I want you!" He said leaning closer to her.

Seeing his face up close, she moved back.

"Why are you torturing me?" She asked with pain in her voice.

"How am I torturing you? You know I don't like people wearing too much perfume." He said coldly.

"Then why not tell her to wear less perfume." She said rolling her eyes.

"Find a male!" He said turning his attention back to his laptop.

"You want a male assistant." She asked, she never thought that he would want a male assistant.

"Hmm!" He replied.

Cheng Xiao said OKAY and left the office. When Cheng Xiao left Xu Kai's office she went straight to the HR department.

"Miss Cheng why are we wasting time with finding Mr. Xu an assistant when he is just going to fire them the same day." Mr. Chen said seriously.

"We all know that Mr. Xu values a lot, so why do you want to quit." Mr. Chen didn't understand the point why Cheng Xiao wanted to quit so badly.

"Mr. Chen let's just focus on the task at hand." She said avoiding the topic.

"Which is?" Mr. Chen asked.

"He said he wants a male assistant." Cheng Xiao replied.

"I hope this is the last time." Mr. Chen said and walked away.

Cheng Xiao walked back to her desk and started to sort out document.
