CHAPTER 53

Hu Yiting opened the door for her to enter and protected her head as she entered. Shen Mu's fellow colleagues saw it and had envious expression. His family was known as one of the richest in the city. 

They wondered what tricked she used to date one of the richest bachelors in the city. Hu Yiting ignored the looks and jogged to the driver side. He opened the door and entered.

"I still can't believe that Mr. Xu actually married Cheng Xiao." She said, she was still in shock at the events that happened.

"I told you that he likes her." He said starting the car. 

"How does she feel about him?" He asked, he was curious for his friend.

Hu Yiting and Xu Kai grew up together, in all the years he had never seen Xu Kai interested in any other girls.

"I don't know, she was really upset with how he got married to her." She replied.

"She even tried on multiple occasions asking him to go with her to get the marriage nulled." She added.

"He will never agree to that, she is stuck with him for life." Hu Yiting replied laughing a bit.

Knowing Xu Kai since childhood, he knew how obsessed he was with Cheng Xiao. There was no way in hell that he would let her go. That was one of the reasons why he married her in a rush, so she would have another chance to fall for another man. 

He was determined to make sure that she was his, and she would always remain his. 

"Enough about them, how was your day?" Hu Yiting asked.

"It was basically fine; the work was not a lot today which is why I managed to finish early." Shen Mu replied.

"What movies are going to watch?" She asked.

"It's a surprise!" He spoke. 

They arrived at the cinema, Hu Yiting parked the car and opened his door, he wanted to open her door, but she had already gotten out of the car.

"Why didn't you wait for me to open the door for you?" Hu Yiting asked crossing his hands over his chest.

"I am still not used to it, sorry." She said coming to him.

"Well get used to it, I want to treat you like a queen." He spoke. 

"A queen? Me?" She asked raising her eyebrow.

"You do know that I am a bit boyish right." She said gesturing at her oufit.

"And so, you still me queen." Hu Yiting said grabbing her hand. 

Shen Mu laughed not wanting to argue any further. Who would have thought that the so called 'cold' guy they described him to be was actually not true. Maybe the first time on their date he seemed a bit cold, but now he was like a child.

Shen Mu's mouth dropped when she saw the movie that they were watching. She turned to look at him with her eyebrows raised, who would have thought that a man like Hu Yiting was into this kind of movies.

She stared at him for a five minute not knowing if what she was seeing was really true.

"I can't believe my eyes." She said staring at the post of Frozen 2.

"What, is there discrimination that I can't enjoy this?" He asked.

"You know from the way people describe you outside, this is not what you would watch." She said honestly.

"I spent my days in and out of surgery, I would want to watch something fun." He spoke.

"You don't like it?" He asked turning to look at her.

"I didn't say that." She replied shaking her head.

"In fact, this is what me and Cheng Xiao come to watch. I just didn't think that you would." She said with a small laugh.

"That is offensive." He spoke staring at her.

"Like I said this doesn't seem like something you would be into." She replied.

"There is nothing wrong with liking cartoons." He said defending himself.

"I never said that there was anything wrong with it, I love cartoons." She said pointing at herself.

"Let's go in." She said grabbing his hand.

Inside the cinema it was mostly filled with teenagers, there was a few of adults as well, but mostly it was teenagers.
