CHAPTER 111

It was Friday, the day the results for the competition would be announced. Xu Kai woke up and saw that Cheng Xiao had already left again. It has been a week since they had a good conversation between them. Cheng Xiao was still ignoring him, now they just shared a room, he was even afraid to go to sleep on the bed, which was why he still slept on the couch.

Cheng Xiao walked into the office and heard murmuring around the office. 

"Did you see that design that was posted yesterday?" Cheng Xiao heard someone ask.

"I did, it was so beautiful. The designer is probably going to win the." Someone replied.

"Definitely! It was the best amongst all of them. It really takes you back in time." Another person spoke.

"Who do you think designed it?" Someone asked.

"Probably Su Li, she is the most talented designer in the department." Someone replied.

"What about Gu Xixi? I heard she is also good, maybe it could be her." Someone spoke.

"Could never be her." Someone replied.

"Why do you say so?" Someone asked.

"She is good but not great." Another person replied.

The lift stopped and Cheng Xiao stepped out of the lift. Cheng Xiao held a faint smile on her face; she only sent the email of her design the yesterday morning. Did they really think that she has no talent in design.

Her design was not a necklace; she had designed a head piece jewelry. She walked in and sat down, soon everyone came in and they started their work. The results would be announced at 4pm. 

"Cheng Xiao, did you send in your design?" Su Li asked.

"Yes!" Cheng Xaio replied.

"I wonder who designed that headpiece, I have never seen a design so unique." Su Li spoke wondering.

"Although we can see all the designs displayed, we are not allowed to claim our design before the competition ends. It is to make sure that the results are fair with no favoritism." Su Li explained.

"I am looking forward to see your design after the competition ends.
