C75 Assassination!!

The members of the Anti Jutrela Alliance were severely lacking in discipline. They were hardly a rabble, yet it was clear they were far from united in purpose.

Despite their unspoken consensus that Qiao Xi was their leader, they wavered and dragged their feet when it came to executing his commands.

Nevertheless, they had a numerical advantage over the Jutrelians. Despite their indecisiveness, they managed to form a massive encirclement around the Jutrelian forces.

"Are they actually going to make a move?"

"Do we really have such a serious conflict with them?"

"It's infuriating. Our country boasts the greatest number of legends, yet not a single one is present. Otherwise, these aggressors wouldn't dare to be so brazen!"

"Exactly. If either Boss Guangcheng or Boss Lei Kun were here, they'd be cowering and behaving themselves!"

The Jutrelians huddled closer together, each person more anxious than the next.

All who had gathered were battle-hardened elites. In theory, they shouldn't be rattled by the prospect of combat, but the sheer number of their opponents was daunting.

If a battle ensued, they were facing an almost certain defeat.

Wang Mingze clenched his jaw and confronted Qiao Xi, "Are you truly intent on initiating a conflict?"

With a malicious tone, Qiao Xi replied, "The influence of the Jutrelians is too formidable. Allowing you to continue to grow unchecked would be a disservice to the civilized world. By taking you down, we'll chip away at your strength. Keep in mind, the least experienced among those who've come here are at level 19. At this stage, that makes them the cream of the crop. The loss of even one is a significant blow!"

"Don't forget, we have Boss Guangcheng in Jutrela. He alone could wipe out two villages! If you dare to lay a finger on us, we'll call on Boss Guangcheng. He'll surely annihilate all of you in our defense!" Wang Mingze was sweating profusely, desperate and out of options, he invoked the name of Chen Guo, hoping the mere mention of his formidable reputation would deter the opposition.

Little did he know, the very Boss Guangcheng he spoke of was standing right beside him.

"This..." Qiao Xi paused, Chen Guo's formidable combat history giving him pause. The shadow cast by a person's reputation was indeed as substantial as that of a towering tree, and the intimidation factor of a legend was not to be underestimated.

"Don't worry," Teng Xiong reassured, "Boss Guangcheng is a solitary figure. As long as we don't stir up trouble with him, he's unlikely to pay us any mind."

Pami chimed in, "Besides, I suspect the tales of Boss Guangcheng's deeds are somewhat embellished. He could very well be all bark and no bite. You're not scared, are you?"

"Hmph, scared of that Boss Guangcheng? Not a chance!" Qiao Xi retorted with a snarl, "Get ready to make a move..."

Chen Guo felt nothing but disdain for the Anti Jutrela Alliance members before him.

Despite his typically aloof demeanor, Chen Guo was a proud descendant of his own lineage, with a deep-rooted sense of identity tied to his nation and people.

It was outrageous that these Anti Jutrela Alliance members, without any substantive conflict of interest, were conspiring to kill Wang Mingze and the others simply because they were Jutrelians and in the minority.

The situation was dire. If Chen Guo didn't intervene, few from Jutrela would manage to escape, let alone stand a chance against their adversaries.

Chen Guo couldn't stand by and watch his fellow countrymen suffer harm. However, having recently assumed the guise of Lee Xiaoyao, he was reluctant to reveal his true identity over a single skirmish.

After a moment's contemplation, an idea sparked in Chen Guo's mind, and he decided to employ Mind Electric Induction to defuse the looming crisis.

Mind Electric Induction was an advanced form of the Charm technique.

Chen Guo had previously witnessed the effectiveness of Charm during a quest. With an ample supply of Creation Pills at his disposal, he had enhanced Charm to the Earth Level, elevating it to Mind Electric Induction.

This technique was even more discreet in manipulating others, with a significantly stronger ability to control.

Those under the influence of Charm often appeared vacant and were unable to speak, clearly indicating something was amiss.

However, those manipulated by Mind Electric Induction were none the wiser, behaving indistinguishably from their usual selves, unwittingly reduced to mere puppets.

With a faint smile and a flash of purple light in his eyes, Chen Guo effortlessly took control of Teng Xiong.

The purple glow in his eyes flickered as he manipulated several Plioyains in succession.

Chen Guo's fighting capacity was several times that of theirs. Overwhelmed by his superior strength, they stood no chance against his Electricity Detection.

Chen Guo's actions were incredibly discreet, yet Wang Mingze caught every detail.

Wang Mingze's gift was his Fiery Eyes, which allowed him to detect any trace of magic arts being used, enabling him to anticipate the enemy's moves.

As Chen Guo activated his Electricity Detection, Wang Mingze's Fiery Eyes flashed with a string of alerts: "Target has initiated a mental-type spell."

Wang Mingze was puzzled by Chen Guo's actions but chose not to reveal him, opting to overlook what he had seen for the time being.

After Chen Guo employed his Electricity Detection to take control of Teng Xiong and other Plioyans, he moved on to his next strategy.

So, as Qiao Xi was preparing to make the first move against the Jutrelians, Teng Xiong stealthily positioned himself behind Qiao Xi.

"Instant Slash!"

In a sudden move, Teng Xiong drew his katana and launched a vicious assault on Qiao Xi.

Caught completely off guard by the dishonorable ambush, Little Creek tried to evade using his body movement technique but was still struck on the right shoulder, his entire arm severed.

This turn of events left everyone from the Anti Jutrela Alliance and the Jutrelians alike in stunned silence: What was happening? Why the sudden infighting?

Qiao Xi, now missing an arm, screamed in agony and leapt back several meters, staring at Teng Xiong in disbelief and fury. "Teng Xiong, what is the meaning of this?! Why did you suddenly turn on me? Why this treacherous assault?!"

Under Chen Guo's influence, Teng Xiong replied with feigned sincerity, "You despicable scoundrels, did you truly believe that we of the Plioya Empire would join forces with you? Hahaha, we deceived you! We Plioyans are nothing but the wild offspring of the Jutrelians, and the Jutrelians are our true fathers. To betray our stepfather for our real father, isn't that just natural?"

Teng Xiong's outrageous statements had left everyone in attendance in disbelief, unable to trust their own ears. Yet, astonishingly, there were a number of Plioyains nodding in agreement with him.

"The Jutrelians are the true patriarchs of us Plioyains. Being a Jutrelian's dog is an immense privilege for us!"

"What's so bad about being a dog? Especially a Jutrelian's dog—it brings me joy, woof woof woof..."

"You're the ones who staged the ambush, you pack of dimwits, and you've been outsmarted!"

The Plioyains under Chen Guo's influence spouted these brazen words, working in perfect unison with Teng Xiong.

The Plioyains who weren't under Chen Guo's spell exchanged bewildered glances, completely at a loss as to what was unfolding before them.
