C153 Guest From Another World Arrogant Blood Tribe!

Ansu's demise delivered a massive influx of slaughter points to the villagers in the team.

Zhou Tao and his companions found themselves leveling up once again.

The search for ways to weaken Ansu was abandoned as they gathered around Chen Guo, marveling at the colossal remains of Ansu.

"I just knew our village chief could handle it. Ansu was clearly no match for him!"

"Obviously, the chief has a combat power of 230,000, while Ansu's is only 140,000. Despite being a legendary creature, Ansu stood no chance against our chief!"

"Village Chief Guangcheng is truly unflappable. He had Ansu dancing on his palm the whole time! We barely had time to blink, and Ansu was down! Village Chief Guangcheng is without a doubt the best in the world!"

While their comments might have sounded like sycophantic praise, they genuinely reflected everyone's sentiments.

Chen Guo surveyed the group and, pleased, nodded in approval. "It looks like you've all hit level 30. Our village is finally ready to upgrade to tier two. Zhou Tao, is your task complete?"

Zhou Tao responded with deference, "The moment you defeated Ansu, our mission updated as complete. We're ready to report back."

Addressing the 24 trial challengers, Chen Guo stated, "Now that you've reached the required level, you're free to go about as you please. Keep striving and show good performance; it will be to your advantage. You may leave now; we have a mission to turn in shortly."

"Thank you, Village Chief, for leading us!"

"Much appreciated, Village Chief!"

"Farewell, Village Chief!"

The 24 trial challengers, knowing when to step aside, politely excused themselves from the team and departed together.

"We can go turn in our mission now..." Chen Guo began, as he started to collect Ansu's body.

Suddenly, a burst of purple light shone, and a portal of the same hue materialized before Chen Guo and his companions.

On high alert, Chen Guo drew his weapon and stepped back cautiously.

Zhou Tao and the others exchanged glances, weapons at the ready, bracing for what might come next.

The purple portal gradually stabilized, and from within, five individuals emerged.

Each one was clad in a tuxedo, their complexions ghostly pale without a trace of color.

All had deep blue eyes and golden hair, and they exuded an aura of immense power.

The leader was a tall, gaunt figure with nails so long they could rival those of the Empress Dowager.

Chen Guo scrutinized them but couldn't discern their attributes. Typically, this meant they were trial challengers.

Could these be trial challengers from Europe?

But how did European trial challengers manage to enter the exclusive Little World of Flame Dragon Village?

Chen Guo pondered silently, continuing his observation.

"Ansu has been slain. We crossed worlds to get here, only to find we're too late!" the leader exclaimed.

"Though Ansu is no more, the prince greatly requires his body. If we can deliver it, our mission will be deemed a success."

"Was it these individuals who killed Ansu? Ansu wasn't easily defeated! Do they truly possess such might?"

"Clearly not. Ansu likely perished from a lightning strike during his tribulation. His body bears the heavy scent of lightning. These folks simply reaped the benefits. Hmph, what a stroke of luck!"

The quintet spoke arrogantly, paying no mind to Chen Guo and his companions, instead focusing on Ansu's remains.

When they spoke, their sharp fangs were unmistakable—not the teeth of ordinary humans. Chen Guo knew at a glance that they were likely the vampires of legend.

Before Chen Guo could interject, the leader made a move towards Ansu's body.

This was Chen Guo's hard-won trophy. Did this interloper dare to lay claim to it? It was as if he had a death wish!

A surge of anger welled up inside Chen Guo. With a wave of his hand, he secured Ansu's body in his personal space.

Chen Guo was willing to let his fellow villagers benefit from his leadership, as he held significant privileges.

But these clueless strangers thinking they could take advantage of Chen Guo? That was not going to happen so easily.

"How dare you take Ansu's corpse right before my eyes? Do you have a death wish?" Chen Guo hadn't even lost his temper when the head vampire erupted in fury, glaring at him menacingly, "You insignificant mortals dare to lay hands on Ansu's body? You... you deserve to die!"

Chen Guo retorted angrily, "You're really turning the tables here. I'm the one who killed Ansu, and his body is my rightful trophy. How dare you lay claim to it!"

The vampire leader sneered, "The audacity! Ansu was clearly struck down by the lightning of the Tribulation. You claiming his death as your doing? You're nothing but fodder; Ansu could have crushed you into pulp with a single swipe."

"But I suppose I can't fault your ignorance. People from your primitive world can't comprehend the might of our Blood Tribe. Do you even know who I am? Do you have any idea where we come from?"

The leader of the vampires stood with an air of superiority, his nostrils flaring, the epitome of arrogance.

Chen Guo shot back, "Who knows what kind of monster you are!"

"How dare you! You're asking for it!"

"Kill him, drain him to a husk!"

"This wretch isn't even worthy to be a slave in our blood banks, yet dares to offend the esteemed Blood Tribe. They deserve death!"

The other vampires were seething with rage, ready to strike at Chen Guo.

But the vampire leader held them back.

"If we kill him, we won't be able to claim Ansu's body. Once these novice trial challengers are slain, their personal items are automatically reclaimed by the system, out of our reach," the leader explained.

"Go tell them of our lineage, show them the vastness of the sky and the depth of the earth, make them aware of our formidable power. Then, perhaps, they'll willingly surrender Ansu's body."

"After all, the bodies of these newcomers are far healthier than your average mortal. If we use them as blood bank slaves, they could provide us with a bounty of delectable sustenance."

The vampire leader licked his lips, his fangs glinting silver, radiating a thirst for blood.

The vampire beside him promptly stepped forward, announcing, "Pay attention, this is the esteemed Baron of the Blood Tribe, a noble among our ranks, Baron Luxari!"

"Baron?" Chen Guo's face creased with confusion. The concept of nobility had long since vanished on Blue Star, making the term "baron" quite alien to him.
