Throughout his month of sinking he had thought about a lot of things, one being how he would train without having his full prowess being exposed.
He sadly couldn't come up with any and therefore decided to just train to his full capacity as he would have normally done if none of the bubble craziness was still here but that wasn't an option thus he trained to his best capabilities.
But training wasn't the only thing he did, when he was about the first extreme layer where the waters of the Great ocean were extremely dense and heavy his body was able to somewhat resist the pressure.
During this time he gathered various natural treasures as he descended deeper and deeper. The current storage had a lot of natural treasures which he had no idea what or how to utilize.
Valmus stood from his lotus position and took a deep breathe, it was still a weird feeling being able to breathe underwater. It was quite peculiar in such a way that as natural as it felt like breathing air it wasn't his cup of tea but he was grateful nonetheless.
He couldn't imagine being forced by the chimera to pick up breathing underwater after all that demented monstrosity was gunning for divine beings.
Ursala had been observing Valmus for the entire month that he had been descending and the few weeks he took to adjust and thrive beneath the pressure of the Great Ocean.
To say she was intrigued was an understatement, the human before her was talented too talented that she had an almost nigh impossible plan weaving in her head.
'If the little human meets HIM and is able to receive his support then maybe just maybe killing the gods may be feasible.' She mused as she chose to strike a conversation with the little human.
"Little fool, i will not help you out. You have to swim and fight your way up, take this as an investment if within your ability help him. This is a request from me to you." Ursala spoke in human tongue, something she hadn't done formerly.
Valmus took a breathe, he knew all too well nothing would be so simple.
"Fine, I understand but I'll need a little more incentive. I practically understand nothing that is spoken or written within this Haven, do you have a way to sort that out? Secondly I need the common knowledge about this haven and its history, that's all I request to honor yours." He explained, the worst thing to do when negotiating is to remain passive when given a chance.
"Hmm, that's pretty simple really, for what I'm requesting you have to he a little more greedy little human." Ursula replied, she had her own circumstances which didn't allow her to foul others.
"Is that right, then a detailed breakdown if the power system of thus haven from beasts to humanoids their paths and means of ascension."
"There's also the need of a compendium that holds a detailed description of herbs, plants, ores and other natural resources and their uses. If possible I would like a bestiary included that is of course if the beast race has no qualms with it."
"There's also the issue with this havens technology, I would like to know how they make what and why? The various languages of the plethora of races within this havens as well would be delightful." Valmus listed his demands one after the other not daring to hold back, since Ursala herself told him to be greedy why the hell would he possibly hold back.
"Finally I have a question, does he truly want to eat me? Or was it mearly a scare tactic to keep me in line, it's hard trying to aid someone who'll inevitably be the architect of your demise." He asked while explaining his reasoning, despite the chimera's honor and majesty his first encounter felt off.
"If I'm being honest, he's been searching for invaders for the past few decades. I'm not aware of his plans but you can rest easy knowing he won't kill you without reason. Killing the divine is no easy feat, you'd always need an anomaly and I'm guessing your his chosen anomaly." She deduced being surprisingly honest with Valmus.
'Whatever the plane, beasts truly are too straightforward. She didn't even hold back in revealing her friend's charade just so she could prove her earnesty.' Valmus mused inwardly.
Valmus was no fool, he knew all yo well that the kraken was stringing him along something, she was weaving imperceptible threads that would eventually lead him to her desired outcome.
'Being used and paid,' he clicked inwardly 'why do i suddenly feel like a consort?' he cursed as he swallowed his indignation and accepted the price of his services.
"Once you reach the top, I will grant you everything that you requested.
You'll be attacked by everything below the Immortal level I've forbidden the Immortals from making any moves against you, unless of course you trespass into their territories that'll be up to you."
"Could you at least give me a weapon, my hands are too fragile to damage the thick hides, skin and shell of whatever beasts dwell within this ocean." He requested before her presence could fade away.
Ursula didn't replied but took action, the waters churned and compressed into a single trident that stood at one and a half meters tall shaft without including the three forks on its head.
It was blue in color, with slight shades of white and green. It has a sapphire embedded onto its head that pulsed every now and then, the but of its shaft was sharp and pointed also ready to draw blood when needed.
"A Trident huh, it's been a while since I used one of these." Valmus chuckled as he held the masterpiece within his grasp, he swung to his left and to his right, slashed downwards and lunged forward testing it's weight.
Even within the waters he could hear the shing of it's blade whenever he moved, it was truly a marvelous weapon one that would soon be drowned in blood.
