Lilian laid on his deathbed, his life nearing its end. 

Surrounded by the cold quiet of a hospital room, he had spent his last months immersed in novels on his phone.

One novel, in particular, had captured his heart, and he yearned to finish it before succumbing to his incurable disease. 

But as the end drew near, he realized he couldn't access the final volume. 

Helplessly, he regretted the opportunities he had missed in life.

And death had finally come knocking.

The Extra's Reincarnation

It didn't take long before the event of the Royal 8 Challenge begun.

Lady Ophelia had signed me up under the pretense that I was her niece at the first section of the process.

She mentioned to me that they had to verify strength but also mana viability, which was a criteria meant to test if your potency and total reserves were below par and if you didn't reach the requirement to enter the test, then they'd just tell you to leave.

This was probably the best method to filter out the weeds within the grass field because I would be mad if some random kid miraculously beat everyone to become the Royal Blade.

However, with this test, I did struggle to do it at first because they had given me this mana orb and an evaluation bar.
