Confrontation II

My blood ran cold the moment Zion spoke those words. It was a sin of Damian's that I just couldn't defend, and he had used it against me. But how, how did Zion find out about this? Damian and I had made sure that we never spoke of that incident to anyone. Could it be that he was bluffing? I doubted it, he sounded way too confident for it to a bluff.

"Silent now, is that it? Aren't you going to deny it?" Zion jeered at me, clearly proud that he had gagged me.

"Is that true, Hayley?" Alpha Alexander inquired in a calm voice. My silence was definitely loud, and even though it was clear that the Alpha didn't want to believe Zion, my reaction to those words weren't exactly doing my situation any good. I couldn't deny it, there was nothing to deny there. Damian had made a stupid mistake, and now I was being forced to pay the consequences of his actions.
