"You do not blame me, do you?" Emma laughed when she saw Nora's eyes. The girl was smart to be fooled. I was ordered by my boss to keep an eye on you but supporting you was my choice." Nora stared at Alric with a cold glare.

"She is to keep an eye on me? To make sure that I do not harm Alex and fulfill my promise?" and here she thought that she had found rare friends. How foolish could she be!?

Looking at her red face, Alric frowned.

"No, she was there to make sure that you are safe. As she said, she was your bodyguard there." Nora only laughed at those words but her eyes were cold.

"And why would I need one? Why would you even provide me one?" It was nothing but a lie.

Alric did not like the accusing tone she used, but he still maintained his calm face.
