Running into a Trap

"Li Feng claims to have your friend, Chu Yao. Don't make any hasty decisions." said a inner Disciple.

The revelation slammed into Bai Yu like a physical blow. "He has Chu Yao?" The question ripped from his throat, laced with a fury that sent a crackle of energy through the air. His hands clenched into fists, knuckles whitening with the force. "That bastard!" he roared.

Bai Yu pass away peacefully," an inner disciple murmured.Another added, "You will face execution for your crimes, but fear not, Li Feng will watch over Chu Yao."

Bai Yu's demeanor abruptly shifted. A cold glint hardened his features as he unleashed his technique: Thunderclap Draw. With lightning speed, he drew his sword and bisected an inner disciple in a single, brutal motion.

"H-h-He slaughtered a disciple!" stammered a terrified inner disciple. "Together! Charge him!" someone bellowed.

Two minutes later, Bai Yu emerged from his courtyard, now a macabre tableau of corpses. Blood stained his robes as he sprinted towards Li Feng's mountain peak.

Bai Yu ignored the shouts echoing behind him, his feet pounding the earth with lightning-fast speed. He crested Li Feng's mountain peak only to find himself surrounded by a hundred bone-forging inner disciples.

A harsh laugh erupted from one of them. "You've walked right into Li Feng's trap!" Another chimed in, his voice laced with amusement, "Li Feng never had Chu Yao. It was all a ruse to lure you here."Relief washed over Bai Yu as the truth dawned. "A trap," he breathed, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

With a swift motion, he unsheathed his sword, his voice hardening with resolve. "Then you will all pay the price. I will kill every single one of you."
