"You are the one with sense, I admit it…"

"But I have waited too long… The chosen children are growing quickly... It's time for them to understand why they are here… to reveal my wish and ultimate plan that will change this world...".

Maya murmured, her eyes fixed on the five children playing together.

In the depths of a large cave, Maya; a mysterious young women, had lived and raised these children—Bogod, Vano, Aya, Lerna, and Nosil... All orphans of the devastating sick war five years prior —known as the War of the sick, which led to the total annihilation of their family, the Ram family.

Maya navigated the narrow path, illuminated by the cave's dim light from above, approaching the children.

Noticing her presence, the children abandoned their games, rushing towards her with joy evident on their faces. They clung to her, their eyes brimming with happiness.

Maya sat down, arranging them around her. Some lay in her lap, others leaned on her, while a few hugged her from behind. To them, Maya was a mother, their only source of affection.

"Mother, I want to sit in your lap too... Why do Lerna and Aya only get to do that?" Vano asked, his voice tinged with longing.

Maya smiled, pulling Vano closer without a word, settling him in her lap. Satisfied, Vano closed his eyes, hugging her tightly.

"My children... I have something important to tell you... Listen carefully," Maya began, her voice soft yet commanding, the children immediately quieted, eager to hear her words.

"Do you remember all the wishes you often tell me?" she asked. The children answered with a unanimous "Yes."

"Well, I have done the impossible to make them come true for you... and I will continue to do so... To be honest, I also have a wish too, one I want to fulfill... When you grow up, will you help me achieve it, my little ones?"

Excitement filled the children's eyes. They loved Maya dearly and would do anything for her.

"I will fulfill all your wishes on my own, mother… No need to worry," Bogod declared, standing up.

But Vano, Aya, and Lerna protested simultaneously, "No, it's me who will do it!", "In your dreams… I'll be the one!", "Quiet... I'm the only one who can do it!"

Amidst their quarrel, one child remained silent. Maya turned to him, smiling "What about you, Nosil? Don't you want to help me too when you grow up?"

Nosil, always more withdrawn due to his scarred face, hesitated. "I... I want to fulfill your wishes too," he stammered.

Maya's smile widened, "mmm, why don't you all work together to help me achieve it?... That would make me very happy."

She opened her arms, and the five children rushed to her, tears of joy streaming down their faces. Maya hugged them tightly, like a mother reunited with her children after a long absence. Yet, hidden behind her warm embrace was a strange, manipulative smile, one that hinted at secrets yet to be revealed.

Ten years later, at a Kylian military base, a soldier arrived to replace his fellow guard. To his surprise, he found his comrade had wet his pants in fear. Amused, he called over another soldier to witness the sight, but they soon noticed the frozen gaze of the guard, fixed on the sky.

Following his line of sight, they were horrified to see a dark shadow piercing the heavens. Shocked and speechless, they too felt a sense of dread wash over them as they realized what's coming.

An alarm bell shattered the silence, its piercing sound echoing through the base. The soldiers, who had been either drinking or sleeping, jolted awake. It was highly unusual to hear an alarm in a base so far from the borders, and the sudden noise sent a wave of confusion and tension through the camp.

"What's going on?" Moka, the commander in chief of the base, _ a predator rank, A man in his forties, with short black hair, thin and with a frowning, sharp face_ demanded of his guards.

The title of Dominator is the highest rank among the warrior ranks, and every family has one Dominator except the Fang Family, which has two.

Each Dominator has two deputy Predators, and each Predator has four Hunters as his deputies.

Here is the ranking: Dominator, Predator, Hunter, Warrior, and Soldier.

"We don't know yet, sir... it seems we are being attacked," one of them replied, his voice tinged with uncertainty.

Moka's brow furrowed in curiosity. How could a base deep in Kylian territory be under attack? Before he could ponder further, a series of explosions rocked the base as boulders struck the ground, causing massive destruction and chaos.

Drawing on his experience as a commander, Moka quickly assessed the situation. "This attack is abnormal," he muttered to himself.

Then, raising his voice, he shouted, "Quickly, send word to all survivors... Form three units: a rescue unit, a defense unit, and an attack unit to subdue the intruders... Hurry!"

The guards scrambled to carry out his orders. Moka approached a broken window, peering out at the devastating scene below.

"Sir, do you think it's the Eris army's doing?" a guard asked, his voice trembling.

"I'm not sure," Moka replied, though he doubted Eris would launch such an audacious strike.

As Bogod approached the roof of Moka's main building from above, Moka sensed his presence.

"Get down!" Moka's voice thundered, carrying over the tumult, as he braced himself for the impending confrontation.

With a thunderous crash, Bogod burst through the roof, shattering nearly the entire hall where Moka and his guards stood. He emerged like a demon from the crumbling floor, his presence ominous and foreboding.

Bogod, Nosil, and Aya stood on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Kylian military base, deep in discussion about their plan of attack.

Nosil spoke in a cold tone, "This is it, guys... Our mission begins here." He paused, then added, "He's definitely there... I can sense him."

Bogod smiled, his body heating up with anticipation. "I wonder just how powerful he is," he mused.

"It doesn't matter," Aya said firmly, a determined glint in her eyes. "We'll take him down." She extended her hands outward and thrust them forward, activating her curse power. "Curse release", she intoned.

Curses, born as a punishment for past misdeeds, haunt the bloodlines, afflicting innocent children whose parents bear the burden of their forebears' sins, paying the price with their lives, before they reach the age of seven.

So they are usually killed as soon as the curse appears in them.

With her extraordinary power, she could change objects places with her gaze. She focused on several massive boulders, lifting them into the sky and hurling them toward the base.

Aya turned to Nosil and Bogod. "This is a declaration of war. Don't hold back."

Both nodded in agreement. "Let's go," they said in unison.

Dozens of rocks pierced the sky, descending rapidly. Bogod and Nosil each rode atop one of these boulders.

As they neared the base, Bogod zeroed in on the central building and leapt from his rock, crashing through the roof with a thunderous impact.

Nosil, meanwhile, vanished like a shadow, slipping into the base to hunt down soldiers and sow chaos.

Back to now

Inside the base, Bogod found himself face-to-face with Moka, the cautious predator of the Kylian forces.

Moka had already divided his troops into three units: a siege unit to defend the base, a defender unit to eliminate intruders, and a small unit to rescue the wounded.

Bogod's voice sliced through the air like a blade, each word dripping with menace as he addressed Moka "An angel has sent me to yaa" he growled, his eyes ablaze with an otherworldly intensity. "Your time is up".

Moka, a cautious man by nature, always sought to analyze the situation before taking action. He never took risks lightly, and his extensive experience had taught him to trust his instincts.

As he faced this unknown enemy before him, a sense of foreboding washed over him.

Despite his meticulous preparations, Moka knew that this foe was unlike any he had encountered before. The sight of Bogod, towering like a menacing shadow amidst the chaos, confirmed his suspicions. Without hesitation, Moka made the calculated decision to flee.

With a swift resolve, he turned and bolted, his mind racing to reach the nearest allied base. There, he hoped to buy himself more time to analyze the threat posed by this new monster.

For Moka understood all too well that sometimes, discretion was the better part of valor.

Bogod pursued him relentlessly, his presence like a looming shadow in the dense forest. Despite Moka's speed, Nosil suddenly materialized in front of him, blocking his path with an air of ominous certainty.

"Escaping is not an option," Nosil declared, his voice dripping with a chilling finality.

In response, Moka swung his sword with determination. "Let me guess, another freak… you are more freakier than the animal chasing after me" he spat out, his words laced with contempt.

"Better watch what you say," Nosil warned, his tone cold and unforgiving. "You might anger the lion."

Moka's confusion grew as Nosil vanished and reappeared nearby, evading his strike effortlessly. "What was that?" Moka wondered aloud, his mind racing with unease.

"Nice try," Nosil taunted, his eyes gleaming with an unsettling confidence. Moka's anxiety deepened as he realized the true danger posed by his adversaries, prompting him to reconsider his strategy.

As Moka attempted to flee through the forest, his pursuers, Bogod and Nosil, closed in on him from both sides, thwarting his every attempt to escape.

Frustration mounting, Moka found himself cornered once again, his mind reeling with confusion and fear.

"What the hell is going on?" Moka exclaimed in frustration, his voice echoing through the forest. "How do they keep appearing in front of me every damn time?"

Bogod's voice cut through the tension like a knife. "Stop trying," he commanded, his words carrying an ominous weight. "An angel is watching us."

Moka's eyes widened in realization. There was a third enemy orchestrating the attack, but their whereabouts remained unknown.

"Is that so," Moka muttered grimly, his resolve hardening as he recognized the futility of running. Instead, he focused on analyzing his opponents, strategizing his next move.

With a steely determination, Moka concentrated his attacks on Nosil, hoping to take down the seemingly less threatening adversary first. However, Nosil proved to be a formidable opponent, matching Moka's every move with skill and precision.

Growing irritated by being overlooked, Bogod unleashed his full power, declaring, "I will get serious. Let's finish this."

Moka sensed the immense power emanating from Bogod and realized he could no longer keep up with both adversaries. With each blow, he felt the weight of his own mortality pressing down upon him.

"This is bad," Moka muttered to himself, his desperation mounting. "If I don't come up with something soon, my neck will be in the dirt."

The battle raged on, with both sides unleashing their curse powers to their fullest. Bogod's raw physical strength was unmatched, while Nosil wielded the unique power to manipulate blood.

Despite his sword curse, Moka found himself struggling to keep pace with his formidable opponents, his every move met with fierce resistance.

As Bogod finally managed to subdue Moka, the commander proved to be more powerful than they had anticipated.

With Moka's heartbeats fading, he mustered his final words, each syllable weighted with defiance. "I don't know why you are doing this," he gasped, his voice strained yet resolute, "but rest assured, messing with Kilian is a huge mistake , victor will hunt you... down."

Bogod's response was chillingly indifferent. "Yeah, we're counting on that," he replied coolly, his gaze unwavering.

Gently lowering Moka to the ground, Bogod added, "Easy now."

As Moka lay defeated, his breaths growing shallow, Nosil approached, his demeanor solemn. With a somber reverence, he dripped some of his blood onto Moka's still form. "Rest in peace," he murmured softly, a gesture of finality and respect.

In that moment, the earth seemed to respond to Nosil's tribute. Strange roots erupted from the soil, wrapping around Moka's body and pulling him downward, enveloping him in an eerie shroud as he was taken underground.

Aya appeared amidst the aftermath, her presence a welcome relief to her companions.

"That was intense," she remarked, her voice reflecting the gravity of the situation.

Bogod, bearing the weight of his injuries, nodded in agreement. "Indeed," he replied, his voice strained. "This guy is truly a formidable foe."

Nosil, visibly exhausted from the battle, added his perspective. "Yeah, this guy is really strong," he admitted.

Bogod, ever pragmatic, acknowledged the challenge they had faced. "Took a while," he conceded. "But that's a predator for you."

As they caught their breath, the trio began to discuss the battle, reflecting on their tactics and the unforeseen challenges they had encountered.

Bogod, grappling with the realization of his own limitations, admitted, "I wonder how powerful dominators truly are."

Aya, sharing his sentiments, nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, same thoughts," she agreed, her expression betraying a hint of concern.

After some deliberation, they made the difficult decision to part ways, each embarking on their own path as dictated by their mission.

Aya and Nosil set their course for Eris land. Meanwhile, Bogod turned his gaze and headed toward andora land.

The news of Moka's assassination quickly spread to the Kylian family and the other families, causing widespread shock. Moka had been incredibly powerful, and the destruction of a military base only added to the gravity of the situation.

The four families, embroiled in small skirmishes over the recently acquired Ram lands, used these conflicts to justify their actions and maintain control over their people.

Despite the apparent chaos, these battles were carefully orchestrated by the top leaders to ensure stability until everything settled down.

After three days of traveling, Aya and Nosil arrived in Eris, entering a town to the east named Roadtown.
