How You Protect Her

Kael halted then turned around and eyed Aeris and asked meanacingly, "what did you say to me?"

"I asked how you are dealing with your rogue problem." Aeris said with faux concern. "Or am I mistaken? Don't you have a rogue problem?"

Kael moved with a predatory grace, his Lycan strength propelling him forward. In a flash, he had Aeris cornered, pinning him up against the cold, unforgiving wall. His voice, low and menacing, echoed in the silent corridor while the guards watched them silently. Then knew not to try to break up whatever was happening between the two men.

"How do you know about the rogues, Aeris? That information is classified. No one outside of Kwall should know about it."

Aeris, his smile nonchalant, met Kael's gaze with defiance. He had been caught off guard and that was why Kael had been able to take him, but he was not about to let Kael intimidate him.
