Indecent act

Amira struggled against his grip, his hand firmly holding her as he pulled her in to take a sniff of her neck, his nose touching her skin.

Amira shrieked in disgust pulling away, a slap echoed through the hall loudly, It drew the attention of everyone present and the music stopped instantly.

"You stupid whore how dare you slap me after I refuse to have a thing with you," John Wick said, his glare directed at her while he twisted the truth in his favor.

'This was the second time I have been accused at a soiree,' she thought to herself.

The crowd gasped at the man's accusation and directed an accusing glare at Amira, who shook her head in response.

"That's not true, and you know it," Amira said.

"This is what happens when a man accuses a woman of indecency. They are quick to deny it, just because the society favors the woman more," John Wick accuses, acting sympathetic.

"That's so bad, she shouldn't be welcome to such events"

"Who's she anyway"

"I can't believe a woman would act so indecent, shame at her"

"She's an embarrassment to womanhood, how dare she"

The crowd accused, Amira took a step back Rian was quick to approach from the crowd.

"What going on here," Rian said.

"Is she your friend? I advise you to run away from her quickly, lady Rian She's a woman of no shame. She nothing less than a whore" John Wick yelled.

Amira flushed some more, her face flaming up she had never been so embarrassed in her life.

"What are you saying Mr Wick? Amira is a married woman; she would never indulge in such an act with you," Rian defended.

"Are you sure lady Rian, you were not here? She was harassing me asking for the unspeakable," Mr Wick said pitifully.

Hathaway walks forward.

"Let's forget about it, Mr wick. I am sure Lady Amira didn't mean to embarrass you," Hathaway said, trying to soothe the issue.

"She should apologize to me while I am still forgiving, or she gets what's coming," John Wick said.

"I am saying this for your good, Mr wick you should let bygones be bygones," Hathaway said.

John Wick scoffed, his red cheek obvious of the mark Amira had imprinted on it, his ego was too big to let bygones be.

"The whole town would hear of this I can't believe you Lady Hathaway I thought you were upright and uphold to justice just because she's your fellow woman. You decided to disregard my pain and embarrassment, how can I go amongst the people now?" John Wick lament.

The crowd pitied him murmuring amongst themselves.

"She should apologize. She doesn't feel sorry for what she has done," the crowd said.

Amira moved back as someone decided to throw a spoon her way; it made a collision with her cheek, leaving a painful scratch before falling on the ground.

Others follow suit throwing things at Amira. Amira blinked seeing the mess she was in now; her clothes were stained with drinks of different kinds, food stains followed, and cutlery left a scratch on her skin.

"Enough!!" Hathaway's voice echoed through the hall, and the murmurs quietened down.

"I didn't realize I had barbarians in my home; how dare you all display such an act in my residence? Do you all realize what you have done?" Hathaway said, her anger evident on her face, gone was her once serene smile for it was no longer on her lips.

"We were upholding justice, such a woman shouldn't be allowed to walk freely in the society," someone said from the crowd.

Amira noticed the evil smirk on John Wick's face, what an evil man he was.

"Rian, take Amira away I advise you both return to the Parker's mansion. I hope you all realize what trouble you all brought upon yourself," Hathaway said, glaring at the people present.

Amira was led into the carriage by Rian, who felt sorry she had brought her out in the first place.

"Am so sorry Amira I didn't expect it to come down to this, I just wanted you to have fun__"

"It's okay, it's not your fault," Amira said, cutting her off so she wouldn't feel guilty for what had taken place.

As the carriage was preparing to depart, a sharp rapping on the window panel jolted Amira's attention. She leaned out cautiously and scowled upon recognizing the visitor.

"You should have acquiesced instead of causing a commotion; things might not have escalated to this point. You still have an opportunity to make amends," John Wick admonished.
