Headache.
Chest pain.
Back pain.
His legs were still sore, perhaps entropied.
His eyes were shut, but he could sense the bits of light that were present on his retinas.
Though, with his arms almost as heavy as a boulder, he couldn't feel much of anything.
He was barely conscious. But, he could tell he wasn't dead… yet.
He was on the verge of death, but he was alive.
And he had been alive for the last few hours, just that the state he was in, was not something that could medically be described as 'alive'.
Still…
-Lu-dub. Lu-dub.
His heart was beating.
His neurons were firing.
And he knew he was alive with his barely conscious mind.
Just that the kind of pain he was feeling throughout his body at the moment was so high that it had crossed the threshold of his perception.
Aside from the knowledge of the fact that he was, in fact, in pain, he did not know what was going on around him.
