Chapter 198: Debut Hat-Trick! Challenge The Entire Premier League!

Scoring two goals in just 10 minutes, the Hammers were left stunned. Even Chelsea's head coach Conte and teammate Hazard were in disbelief.

"Wasn't Su Luo supposed to struggle in the Premier League?" Hazard thought to himself. "How is he this unstoppable right from the start?"

Hazard felt this the most. Having personally battled against West Ham's defense, he knew they weren't easy to break down. He had to give it everything just to create a few chances.

But Su Luo? He was scoring like it was child's play.

Hazard shook off his initial panic and was suddenly grateful. "At least this terrifying guy is on our team," he thought with relief.

After a disappointing season last year, Hazard hadn't expected much in terms of winning the title. But now, it seemed like not only was the championship within reach, but the real question was how many trophies they could win.

The match continued smoothly for Chelsea. Leading by two goals, they strategically pulled back their defense, deliberately letting West Ham have more of the ball to lure them forward.

In the current football landscape, where Barcelona-style tiki-taka was fading, defensive counter-attacking football was becoming the dominant strategy, and Conte was a master of it.

Chelsea's 4-2-3-1 formation might not be perfect, but it was more than enough to handle the Hammers. West Ham simply didn't have the technical ability to break down Chelsea's defense.

Sure enough, as West Ham took control and pushed forward, they looked awkward, hesitant to commit fully to the attack.

Chelsea remained patient, waiting for the inevitable mistake.

In the 35th minute, Chelsea struck again.

Andre Ayew tried to dribble past Azpilicueta on the wing, but suddenly a dark figure blocked his path.

Ayew attempted a feint, but his opponent didn't budge. Frustrated, Ayew pushed the ball to the outside, but his opponent had already predicted the move and intercepted with a precise tackle.

That short, stocky figure launched a counter-attack almost immediately. The sight of his back was unmistakable—Number 8, Kante!

It was him again! Ayew had suffered against Kante last season when he was with Leicester City, and now he was facing him again at Chelsea.

Kante, with his incredible range and tenacity, was like a mobile wall for attackers.

After stealing the ball, Kante took a few strides forward and passed it to Su Luo. Instantly, Hazard on the left, Willian on the right, and Lukaku up front surged forward in unison.

"Perfect tackle! And now Chelsea is on the counter-attack!" the commentator exclaimed.

"Su Luo receives the ball, turns, and skips past Kouyaté effortlessly! Chelsea are now 4v3 in the final third!"

"What will Su Luo do... brilliant! He passes to Hazard in the center-left position!"

As the distance to the penalty area decreased, West Ham defender Winston Reid decided to focus on the most dangerous player—Su Luo. But just as he stepped forward, Su Luo's pass slipped right behind him, perfectly timed!

To maximize efficiency, Su Luo had adjusted the pass slightly inward, allowing Hazard to make a diagonal run into the box, facing the goalkeeper one-on-one.

"The pass was exceptional! Exactly what we needed!" Director Zhang, a renowned commentator, praised Su Luo's vision. "It's a joy to watch him play, better than a movie! His football IQ surpasses even Messi's!"

Sure enough, Hazard comfortably controlled the ball inside the penalty area. Collins rushed to defend, while left-back Masuaku moved centrally to cover Lukaku, and the goalkeeper blocked Hazard's shooting angle.

Reid, meanwhile, sprinted back into the box, trying to cut off Hazard's passing options.

Faced with limited choices, Hazard might have tried to lob it over or force a shot.

West Ham had handled the situation well, minimizing their losses. But they forgot about one more dangerous player approaching the area.

Hazard, with a subtle delay, drew the defenders closer before making a precise cut-back pass with his left foot.

The ball reached the blue number 7 near the penalty spot—Su Luo!

Reid saw it too late to block the shot with a sliding tackle.

Boom!

The ball rocketed towards the top corner of the net. Goalkeeper Adrian dove with all his might but couldn't reach it.

"Su Luo! He scores again!!"

"The first half isn't even over, and Su Luo has already completed his first Premier League hat-trick!!"

"A hat-trick in the first 35 minutes—could there be a better debut than this?"

"Before the season started, the English media doubted this signing, questioning whether Su Luo could adapt to the Premier League!"

"Well, what do they say now?" The commentator Zhan Jun roared with emotion.

Zhan Jun had been infuriated by the media's skepticism towards Su Luo, but there was nothing he could do to confront them. All he could do was believe in Su Luo and trust that he would seize every opportunity to prove himself.

And sure enough, a hat-trick in 35 minutes on his Premier League debut!

Could there be any stronger proof than this?

In the Sky Sports studio, the commentators were just as amazed.

"Mr. 155 million with a perfect strike! What a stunning finish!" exclaimed Martin Tyler, the legendary commentator.

"Look at him! The relief on his face after that hat-trick!"

"What's difficult for most people seems effortless for this man from China!"

Carragher chimed in:

"Chelsea's counter-attacking play was textbook. From Kante's interception to every delicate pass, it was flawless!"

"Su's finish was exquisite. Hazard drew all the defensive pressure, while Lukaku and Willian's positioning kept the defenders distracted."

"None of them realized just how quickly Su Luo would get into a dangerous position. Brilliant! Simply brilliant!"

Gary Neville added:

"From a defensive perspective, West Ham did everything right. There were no obvious mistakes. Chelsea just executed everything perfectly."

"Su Luo is a player who thinks ahead. People focus on his shooting and dribbling, but they overlook his intelligence."

"With that alone, he's destined to thrive in the Premier League."

Manchester United star Gary Neville scoffed at the media's doubts about Su Luo adapting to the Premier League.

"A monster who scored 60 goals and provided 40 assists in the Bundesliga is a monster in any league," Neville argued. "Why does the Premier League think it's superior? It's the arrogance of the English that prevents them from improving their own strength. The Three Lions have nearly become a third-rate team in European football. Just look at the European Cup, where England was eliminated by Iceland in the round of 16—what a shame!"

Neville believed Su Luo's arrival could be a blessing in disguise. Like a catfish stirring up a pond, Su Luo might shake up English football, forcing defenders to raise their game. Neville was convinced that Su Luo's presence would make English defenders better prepared to handle other attackers.

Su Luo's performance on the pitch during the match against West Ham showcased his incredible skill. His hat-trick shattered West Ham's confidence. They seemed disoriented, unable to coordinate their offense or defense.

At halftime, West Ham was floundering, holding the ball aimlessly. Chelsea, on the other hand, remained patient and waited for the right moment to strike.

Before the end of the first half, Kante made another crucial steal. Su Luo seized the opportunity, using his exceptional ball control to maneuver past defenders and passed to Willian on the right. Despite Willian's well-placed cross, Lukaku's close-range header went wide.

Martin Taylor, commentating for Sky Sports, was stunned. "Unbelievable!" he said. "Lukaku couldn't score that chance? What a missed opportunity!"

Zhan Jun, another commentator, added with a hint of sarcasm, "Lukaku! Can't even score this goal? Very professional clearance!"

Su Luo, originally set to make a run, stopped and shook his head with a wry smile. He recalled a funny voiceover from a future video blogger, "Brother, give it a go! Isn't this coming? I have a Belgian dunk…"

Su Luo focused back on the game. He had anticipated that playing alongside Lukaku might lead to some missed chances, but it was part of the game. As long as Lukaku fulfilled his role as a target man, other players would have opportunities to score.

Conte, despite Chelsea's dominant 3-0 lead at halftime, was already contemplating tactical adjustments. He was known for his meticulous approach, and even with a comfortable lead, he continued to strategize.

In the second half, West Ham struggled to mount any serious challenge. Su Luo's hat-trick had effectively sealed the game. West Ham only managed two non-threatening shots in the first 15 minutes after the break.

In the 62nd minute, Matic, in combination with Kante, stole the ball. Su Luo, surrounded by defenders, was initially blocked. Matic passed to Willian on the right, who made a run and then delivered a perfect pass into the box.

"Su Luo is in position! He deftly flicks the ball, cutting through the defense and into the penalty area!"

"Su Luo!!! Attracting three defenders!"

As West Ham's defense faltered, Su Luo found a narrow gap and delivered a precise pass to Lukaku, who was well-positioned to score.

Lukaku, now facing almost an empty goal, made no mistake and scored easily. "Su Luo assists Lukaku to extend Chelsea's lead to 4-0!" the commentator announced.

Lukaku, thrilled by the goal, rushed to high-five Su Luo. "Thank you, Su! Thank you!" he exclaimed.

The team's chemistry was evident as they celebrated together. Chelsea now felt like a rejuvenated squad, showing unity and purpose.

In the 80th minute, Su Luo delivered another textbook counterattack. He made a stunning 30-meter run, expertly finding Ajar, who then blasted the ball into the net for a 5-0 lead.

Su Luo's debut was nothing short of spectacular, and Sky Sports' Martin Taylor praised his performance: "If Su Luo can maintain this form, he'll make a massive impact at Chelsea."

"Other Premier League teams, are you ready to face the Chinese captain's wrath?"
