However Alexandria was the one who refused Tomah's suggestion. Tomah's suggestion was also not stimulating enough for him.

"No, too childish and might not work out because Sir Zenith could ask us to make either Lilian and Layla shut up for a while and we'd have to talk to a girl."

Tomah wondered why Alexandria interceded when he didn't usually talk to the girls and could easily go through a day without talking to them.

The punishment was obviously for Gion who recently made friends with the girls. Also, didn't he think he'd win? But Tomah decided to see it as Alexandria being realistic.

The training might not be too push Gion below him but to gauge his strength with Gion's, after all, there was a clear difference between their ranks.
