9: Meeting The Third Heiress, Infiltration Failed.

He lay there on the floor after the scene he made, breathing heavily as he stared blankly at the foot of his bed.

His eyes slowly began to shut as tears slowly went from them and down his cheeks.

He didn't know why he was crying or if he was even the one crying; it must have been a natural involuntary action.

He finally closed his eyes and dozed off, waking up the next day to find himself lying in the same position where he was last night.

" Hmmm-! hmm-! hmm-!."

" I must be dreaming." He thought, rubbing his eyes with his right hand.

The humming voice he was hearing coming from the room he was in wasn't familiar and he knew no one would dare come into his room without permission.

" Hmm-!"

The same voice resounded again and prompted him to raise his head and look around the place; this clearly was no dream.

He froze for a moment as his eyes caught something from the distance; a pair of feet with nothing on them, swinging by the edge of his bed.

His eyes widened instantly as they slowly began to trace upwards, towards the the person who possessed the legs.

Her white kimono caught his attention and how adorned her dress was gave him a strange feeling; only a high-ranking member of the clan would ever dress like this in his room.

But that wasn't his only shock; within her hands, a book as thick as a brick lay right by her chest.

' Highly Classified'

The words that lay on the book's cover were ones that he could never dream of seeing in another person's hands.

" What the hell do you think you're doing!?" He asked, yelling at the top of his lungs as he quickly jumped at her.

The book which she held and which he titled "Classified," was nothing short of a diary; a book that had every plan and goal he had set for this new world he found himself in.

He was able to stand right before her in a bid to grab hold of the book but his speed was nothing compared to hers; although he had moved first, she was able to get out of his reach in time.

" Do you mind?" She said, looking up at him, " I'm quite deserving of some personal space now aren't I?"

He paused for a moment before quickly steeping away, the energy that brimmed around her was frightening.

" Fine then, can I have my book now?" He asked politely, reaching out his hand.

" You seem quite energetic for someone your age who just awoke from slumber– and here I was thinking that children needed much rest," She said, placing her right hand on her chin as she looked at the book content, " judging by your age and the number of words on this book, then a lot of research would have gone into it and one which could only suit you five years from now."

" Well now Miss smarty-guardian, you're not the only one who has told me I'm too intelligent for my age." He thought as a frown slowly began to become apparent on his face.

She stood up from the bed and slowly walked towards him – handing him the book as she approached the room's exit.

" I'll see you later."

The hushed words that slowly flew into his ears left him standing there, his eyes widened and his hand held out; what could the clan's guardian want with him?

******

While he planned on how to deal with his newest problems, he also had to begin his plan on obtaining his most wanted item: The system heart.

Dressed in the most fashionable trousers and coat he could find in his closet, he was currently strolling through the mystic clan's streets once again.

His objective; was the second family, the clan's third heiress to be precise.

Though his mother was the third wife to the head of the Mystic clan, his father had married all three wives at short yearly intervals.

This also meant that they all slightly aged past each other and the very reason why his elder sister was the oldest female child of all his father's children.

The nine children; Valero Mystic; heir of the Mystic clan born to the first wife, Emile Mystic; the second son born to the same mother, Shane Mystic; the second wife's son, Niya Mystic; his elder sister, Ophelia Mystic; Val's youngest sibling, Lana and Liam Mystic; twins born by the second wife and lastly; he and his younger sister, Nexus and Adira Mystic.

Lana was the person who he was coming to see and he was hoping she would be kind enough to let him see her.

She was a pompous ten-year-old who had fortunately inherited the strongest elemental class specification and looked down on anyone who didn't meet her standards.

It wasn't long before began to reach the second family's building and quickly began to increase his pace.

He had lied to the guards at the gate before entering with an invitation card; the card had been given to him by Lana but it was almost six years since it happened.

Back when he was younger, he was constantly praised for how smart he was, and due to this, she had challenged him to a test of intellect; she obviously lost and thus gave him the card so he could come to visit her anytime he wanted.

He hid by the side of a huge boulder as he stared over through the edge; there he could see a boy whacking at a metal doll with his spear while his twin at the other side sitting by a decorated table with dolls by her side.

She was having a tea party with her dolls while dressed in a beautiful and flowery white dress with a white collar around her neck.

His heart was beating up as he thought of the complications and risks of what he was about to do.

He slowly brought down his head and stared at the card and the book that he held in his hand; he was checking to see if he looked good enough and ready for the task at hand one last time.

A bright white light shone before him as he looked up, forcing him to raise the book before his face.

The lights dimmed out and he slowly brought the book down to see the greatest shock of his life.

The white dress she wore flew with the wind as she looked up at him with a slight smirk on her face and her right hand held out.

" Well then, nice meeting you."
