After a long day of training, he returned to his room once more feeling totally exhausted. He had been training for six hours straight and needed to rest for a bit.
His pool of mystic energy had already been drained completely and he would have long been in a much worse state had it not been for the energy he had been extracting from the heart.
He lay on his bed as he picked up the ring Lana had given to him and examined it closely one last time.

' Well, I guess it pretty much does everything the name implies.' He thought, slowly getting down from his bed as he slowly walked towards a cabinet by the side of his room.
He opened up the cabinet to reveal a small metal box lying inside it; one which he instantly sliced up to reveal a pile of cash that had he had been saving up for a while now.
It wasn't much by most standards being only almost a million paxri but it would be enough to sustain him for what he had planned next.
He met with Lady Miko who seemed a bit nicer than he had expected and she agreed to let him leave the estate but only on the condition that he would somebody watch over him.
Perhaps, something would be a more precise description...
Though it was called a black market he was heading to a place that could easily be considered to be far more dangerous than a swarm of hundred advanced curses, especially for a child like him.
As for where he was headed, it was to the beneficiary he had told Lana about. Had he been around here by himself then his survival wouldn't have been guaranteed.
It was a rather small town in the outskirts of the nation and it housed many migrants and homeless people as well.
~knock!~ ~knock!~ ~knock!~
He knocked hard on the door of the house before him and it was only a matter of moments before it was opened up slightly as someone tried to take a peek at who it was from the side.
" It's me, Nexus." He said, raising his hand slightly.
" Oh, Nexus it's you." A feminine voice that sounded surprised came as the entrance to the door widened further, " come in, quickly."
He walked into the house and turned around to have a view of the young lady who had just opened the door for him.
She had a bright smile on her face with a pale white face paired with brown eyes. He hair was the same colour as her hair and she had average height and a slender body, just the right shape.
" Sorry for bothering you." He said with a slight, silent chuckle.
" Another one of those book series I see. It's too bad it ended over fifteen years ago and wasn't very popular so it pretty much died down over the past few years." She placing, placing her hand on her chin as she slowly walked towards him, "Finding something of that nature can be quite hard even in a place like this."
He nodded his head slightly as his gaze went straight to the floor. He already knew that much but he only came to buy the book because of the guilt he felt but he was ready to reap some benefits for himself; the very reason why he had come with the huge sum of money.
" We can get the book later. For now, I have a few other things in mind." He mumbled, bringing out a piece of paper from his pocket.
She took the sheet of paper and began to read through what had been written on it with an awkwardly shy look on his face.
The woman he was standing before was the same age as the second oldest heir of the mystic clan; nineteen years of age.
He had originally created her as a character who aided Niya during her troubled times and later went on to get in contact with his now half-brother, Emile Mystic.
That was when his sadistic intent kicked in and he ended up killing her off in a tragic incident at the end of a certain arc of the story.
Standing before her now and many times before he was finally getting a feel of the kindness he had written and couldn't help but feel guilty for what he had done.
Had he been so engrossed in his favorite anime that he turned into a sadistic pen wielder who wanted nothing more but for all fictional characters to suffer the same fate?
Too bad there weren't any fans to handpick their favorite characters so he could kill them off.

Her eyes instantly widened as she slightly put the piece of paper and looked straight into his eyes.
" Erh, don't you think this might be a bit much? Every single artifact or item listed here is within or above the unique Tier which means they're all of seven-digit price tags."
" I know that and I have a plan." He said, leaning slightly closer to her as he whispered something into her ears.
" It's not going to be the most effective but I'm sure I'll be able to pull it off if I bargain properly." He thought, staring at his hand one last time.
" If you're so confident with the plan you have in mind then I suppose there's no harm in trying." She said with her bright smile on as she slightly patted him on the head.

He had to wait for her to get ready and it wasn't long before they went out immediately after that.
He was dressed in his usual black outfit while she was dressed in a plain red dress and black shorts that reached slightly above her knees.

He closed his eyes and slowly opened them to reveal a white outline that had now surrounded his pupils.
It was finally time for him to put his bargaining chips to good use...
