Looking at his soon to become five feet tall sister, he couldn't help but smile at the younger version of her.
She used to be a bit more sassy which was an attitude that gradually declined over time but from what he was seeing, she was definitely the mommy's girl.
He could upright argue that her room was the best if not the largest of all of the Clan's heirs and heiresses but at least it was better that she was now easier to communicate with.
" Sure thing." He said with a slight smile on his face, " I'll get the job done, but you can keep the incentives for later."
" Sure thing, but there's something I have to show you first." She said with a slight chuckle as she slowly walked towards the corner of her room.
She came back a while later with two scabbards in her hands, both looking very much like they had swords sheathed in them.
" Feel free to open them later and tell me if you have any troubles with the request I asked of you. Perhaps it would be best if I went with you, or is there a reason why I can't come along?"
Words came out of her mouth way faster than he could keep up with but that wasn't his only problem; her voice sounded so sweet and considerate, like the soothing he needed at that very moment.
" One step at a time now." He said, turning towards the door with the apparent smile still on his face, " I'll make sure to notify you once you're needed, trust me, the process isn't that demanding."
" Of course, I have a pretty vague view of what a black market would look like, but I'm sure things are usually shady hence the day. So just be careful I'll understand if you can't get it done."
He was struggling to keep his face straight at that moment as he rushed out of the room and down the stairs.
" I'll report back to you once I'm done!" He yelled at the top of his lungs as he reached the end of the stairs.
He just wanted to leave her side for a while to regain his composure but he had underestimated her speed.
She was able to doublecross him just as stepped on the floor and grabbed a hold of his hand.
" Give me a minute ok, there's something I still have to give you." She said, pulling him closer to her.

What had just popped up in front of him was a great surprise but nonetheless, he had been expecting something like it to happen at some point.

Though he was held in great suspense at what was happening, he quickly closed the window so he could focus on what was currently happening.
" Here," she said, handing him the same he had seen in the briefcase, " it's a storage, just in case you need help with anything that's too heavy of a load."
With that she went straight back to where she had just come from, leaving him to stare blankly at the ring as he pondered on how much everything had changed.
It was really starting to feel like he was reliving his life; everyone was growing by the day and it just made him realize that he would have to work harder before he would run out of time.
He returned to his room after meeting with his elder half-sister. He still hasn't tried out the ring as he was eagerly staring at what new things his system had in store for him.

" This system should stop bothering me already and get it over with the procedures already." She said impatiently with a wide grin on his face.
It wasn't long before he found himself in the middle of the small woods that was on the outskirts of the Mystic clan's estate.
This was his first time actually getting to know what it felt like, converting Mystic energy into spells and it had him ecstatic as much as he was nervous.
He proceeded to slowly hold out his right fist and slowly, mystic energy began to gather around the stretched fist until it formed a thick golden yellow coating around it.
He gritted his teeth as he slowly walked towards one of the trees before him and the condensed mystic energy slowly began to turn white.
The power of his newly linked class had just revealed itself and all it took was a single bang to send the tree falling with a huge dent now on it.
" Well, it's too bad I can only use one linked system at a time and only one with a matching Tier and below. Although it does give a good amount of versatility it still pushes me to train even harder than I already do." He thought, staring at his hand and back at the fallen tree.
His trump card was finally here...

Their curse exorcism ritual was by the corner and it involved all those within the mystic clan who had been deemed to be of the right age to become exorcists.
Though they would join an academy immediately after the exam, most bearing noble names remained under the bridge of their families, not joining the state's bureau.
He had trained twice as hard ever since the following days since it was only a few months before the ritual would be held.
Ten outside of the head family had already been chosen and he was already sure that all eyes would be on him on that very day.
" Having everyone watch me doesn't me that I shouldn't use my cheat but perhaps I should how I use it so as to not arouse suspicion.' He thought, ' So far the heart doesn't give any energy on its own so most would believe that I possess an abundant amount of mystic energy."
Not many resources were at his disposal at the moment but how would fair with what he had...?
